    Not in Dublin. In Sydney.
It's the top side of the pinky knuckle. So not much tissue there other than the affected ligament and tendon. It's not hugely sore but mobility (vending finger back) is affecting my training.

After two months my finger is still broken :( and now I think I've torn(not completely) my calf muscle and while I was in the hospital I think my thyroid went totally hyper I got completely jittery and everything when into complete overdrive.

I think I'll hibernate until next year or at least until I can walk again:(

    Might be magnesium deficiency

Probably not, my thyroid has gone quite loopy this year, and there were other things happening that are hyper related rather than magnesium related.

Added split squats to my routine yesterday, bent down to tie my shoe lace today and could barely get back up :pac:

Its actually a great exercise and will hopefully help me bring my weaker leg up to par

    true tho.

golf balls are a source of protein too probably. doesn't mean I want to base my meals around them.

Golf balls (tm) part of a healthy diet, now with added rubber. The professionals choice when it comes to losing weight. (may help slimming as part of a calorie controlled diet)

To get my 180g of protein I would need to eat 52 slices of bread which would have 4524 calories, 50 grams of sugar and 23 grams of salt

Myself and the OH are renovating our new house at the moment.I took my first week off training this year and ate nothing but chinese takeaways, pizza and beer.

I gained 6kg, lost my visible abs under a layer of fat and I feel fantastic!

Looking forward to going back to training today to grind it all off :)

Why bother when you could just put more bread on the bread. #AthleticPerformance

Blend the bread and add some flour.

    Protein up, hassle down.

    Does the Energie Fitness ad annoy anyone else? Lifting = brutish, aggressive, crazy, abnormal; Cardio / weight machines = normal;

    Probably overthinking it!!

For those of you that make burgers using turkey mince, how much mince do you buy for just yourself? I bought half a pound which made 4 turkey patties, is that too much for dinner when fat loss is the goal?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,943 ✭✭✭JJayoo

Turkey mince is a very lean source of protein. Horse it in.

    The answer is maybe.

It's all about total kcals per day, not individual meals.

    Turkey mince is great stuff!

Had turkey meatloaf today, 400g turkey breast, 25g of oats, 40g of grated cheese, half a tin of tomatoes.. Delicious gains!

    756cals
    113g protein
    24g carbs
