Ah he wont go for that, sure an old 330d has more torque than him :p

Ah I see all the diesel devils are out in force tonight :D

Torque isn't much good when it comes in a lump before 5k revs!

How the hell did we get here from a TDI MPS

    Hey I drive a petrol :P

And I've no idea but, I can't help but feel I had some part to play :P

I think it's in Eastern Europe they refer to it as 'fuel or diesel', kinda like the way the muck savages say 'is it a boy or a child'. Might be outdated opinion to some but both sayings imply that the latter is inferior. ;)

What's a lot of torque? Mine's petrol and has 420lbs/ft.

I think you'll find its much more useful that way than a lump at 9k revs:p

Come for a spin in my car and I'll show ya linear power delivery! No lump here ;)

Lmao... linear from <1k up to nearly 5k revs. Better than having to rev the nuts off her to get peak torque. This is why I prefer fast daysuls to fast petrols for every day driving. More useable power and torque.

That'd be a lot. AFAIK that is even more than the 535d stock which is 413 lb/ft.

What car is that out of interest?

Max, you've become even more of a fanboi than 166man!

I don't think it was "become", more, let out on a leash. Can't really be a fanboi and not own at least one model :P

Even 2nd class arithmetic would tell us that 420 is more than 413!

    It's the Jag v8 engine in a 4x4 body.

Meh, I've the best of both worlds with all the different motors.... Does that mean in a fuel bisexual? I can throw in LPG to make it an awkward threeway!

Surely it will only truly be pushing the boundaries when you get one of them running on used oil from your local ITICA chippers.

The afaik bit was directed at the 413 figure..

    SO, a range rover?
