Poljot getting loads of love lately, no point in it sitting in a display box I suppose. ;)

I bought it on the bay about a year ago. It came a cheap strap so I bought the leather croc deployant online.

Homer purchased one identical recently so he may have more up to date knowledge. It's a Poljot from the 70's with a 2614.2h movement. If you google "poljot 2614.2h" you'll get an idea.

I lost a pin from the original bracelet on my Steinhart, so until I get that fixed I thought I'd try it out on a new strap.

Mine was about the same price. I think $60 all in including shipping. Worth every penny of that IMO. Stick a nice strap on it and it's a fantastic watch at the price. Mine is keeping great time since I got it.

Ikarus back on the black flieger strap. Works better with a shirt in the office over the more casual brown strap

Sometimes it's not always about the watch.

Picked this just after christmas but it doesn't get much wear to be honest as I generally wear a smart shirt workwise and its just a bit too big for that! Weather getting a bit nicer means some of the short sleeve tops are out so thought i'd give it a few days on the wrist! Liking it so far :pac:
    Always wanted a g-shock!

    That's lovely. What's powering it?

    That's lovely. What's powering it?

It has the Sea Gull ST2130 movement which is the Chinese clone of the ETA2824-2 basic automatic winding with 25 jewels.

    It is 28,800 bph.

In the last year the ST2130 has been cloned by the Liaoning Watch Factory. They call their movement SL3000. It is very hard to tell the difference between the two Chinese movements.

Over the past few years Sea Gull have parted company with a lot of their middle & high ranking employee's due to various reasons. Some of these ex-employee's have set up third party watch companies using Sea Gull movements.

The cream of the ex-employee's joined the Liaoning Watch Factory which was in decline and they have brought out three Sea Gull clones namely the SL3000 , a chronograph and a tourbillion movement.

These new clones will become more popular as Sea Gull has done an ETA and now do not sell their movements to third parties.
