I'm genuinely surprised he didn't top the poll.
I always felt that Helen was going to take the seat. However, I feel the result was more of a vote of support for the McEntee family than an endorsement of FG's policies in government.

Im not very Labour generally but this Labour guest IS good. His circumstances are tough cos Labour are been shot and their candidate lost without any grace.

To Vincent "Well you never ran a campaign yourself but we all know your Fine Gael past..."

Well no, I had no notion of that past but nicely flagged!

I thought he was getting a bit personal with Vincent.

Labour effed now - we'll have a repeat of the 1997 Election and they'll lose half their seats.

Labour gets only 4.5 % in the by-election..... Maybe there is a God after all

According to Aodhán Ó Riordáin, Labour had a "communications problem"...

They communicated a bucket-load of bullshit in the run up to the last election, and are now reaping the rewards.

yest but don't you know that they just made those promises to get into power according to Pat Rabitte.

Pat Rabbitte: "Isn't that what you tend to do during an election?"

I think I'll need subtitles for Damien English

They should really have subtitles when Damien English is talking.

That's the clip they should play next.
God, Rabbitte is stunning in his arrogance.
And that face he pulls when he indulges in it always gets me.

May as well throw up his retrospectively ridiculous mauling of poor oul' Pat Carey.

    Is Damien speaking English?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,766 ✭✭✭JM Skipton

Damien English as director of elections.....I wouldn't let him direct traffic !

He always sounds like he is speaking with a marble in his mouth :D FG should send him to Terri in the Communications Clinic.

If all else fails, they could bully him into speaking properly.

All these video clips are funny, Vinny is trying to turn the programme into a political version of 'You've been framed'.

    "Let me finish my point"

Question? Is it still her point when she has to read it word for word??

I thought we weren't going to hear anything from Sean Fleming....I thought wrong. Defending Thomas Byrne is beyond sanity

Family or friends she said. And yes I assume most people do. Only the closed minded family members don't get told.

I'd say that is true, most people have a gay relative or gay friends or work colleagues.
