Yes but your order may be cancelled first time, then you send them a scan of your passport and latest bill and you can then order again.

Maybe one of the mods could add how to order the N4 via the UK play store to the first post?

I think if you ordered with a credit card the money won't show up as having being taken straight away. I ordered with a visa debit.

My "Date" changed to Jan 18. From reading XDA nobody has received shipping emails as of yet so I not getting my hopes up too much for now

I don't think the Galaxy Nexus sold very well so maybe they only ordered based on the demand for that, even though it was quite expensive and not as high spec for its time. At least I've never seen anyone using a galaxy nexus whereas I've seen millions of S2s and S3s.

Indeed, the Nexus Devices were always seen as a way to give developers devices that will have and get the latest vanilla Android quickly for development purposes.

The Galaxy Nexus sales were very poor so I doubt Google would have been too eager to stick their neck out and order vast amounts of the Nexus 4.

Im abit weary to order a N4 right now. With the supply shortage LG had/has with the N4. They are still trying to meet orders placed awhile back. But now they are catching up. With that it was also reported that Google wanted to stop the shipments for alittle while to alter the N4. Could it be that the N4 will be released to a wider market (Ireland included) and have LTE/4G support to rivial iPhone 5.

I know we dont have 4G in Ireland yet but if the N4 had it I would be quick off the mark to invest in it as it will be rolling out during 2013 on at least Vodafone and 3.

You must of gotten lucky then and didn't hear about all the screen lift issues. Had to send my first one back, second one was better thankfully. Still though pretty poor form that 7/8 months after release they were still manufacturing them with these defects that are so obvious they really should be picked up at the quality control stage if there even is one!?

Anyway by all accounts Motorola are the next Nexus phone manufacturers. I've been using the Droid razr for the last couple of years now and its a good phone but it has its issues. Still though I'd say they would do a good job on the Nexus.

pity we can't pick them up at the airport, save having to send them from Dublin to the North to send them back again :rolleyes:
