Thanks a million, that worked. Package is now in Dublin. Amazingly now it has to go to Belfast to be sent back to Dublin. Why in Gods earth does Google not ship to Ireland.

Also amazing how Google cannot provide a correct link for the tracking information.

Google use a different courier for NI than they use in GB.
Yes it's crazy they ship to Belfast via a courier based in Dublin only for us to have to reship ourselves from Belfast to Dublin.

Easiest way to know if it's received by Parcel Motel and on the way back to Dublin is to check and see whether your balance on Parcel Motel has changed. On my two orders it looked like Parcel Motel deducted the charge when parcel arrived in Belfast but only send you the 'ready for pickup ' text/email when it is in your designated pickup motel.

Is it still worth trying to get one of these at the moment?

If so, is my best bet to be refreshing the UK Google store or is there somewhere else I should where I can get notified if they,re in stock. I don't mind waiting a few weeks for the phone, it's by far the best phone for the price at the moment.

OK thanks! Is that for the us store, the UK or does it even matter?

Once they do come into stock, is it just a matter of buying through a UK proxy and then getting it sent through parcel motel?

I'm the same, got two emails yesterday to say it was shipped but still no info available using the tracking number.

Mine is the same, phone is in Dublin and no change on my Parcel motel balance.

If you look at the parcel motel Christmas shipping schedule it says that if they receive it today (Monday 31st) it won't be delivered until Thursday so I don't expect to see it before that.

I'm a little late to this party, but I've been keeping an eye on this thread and read a good chunk of it yesterday. Is anyone aware of the issue with UK only buying and stock issues will be sorted soon(or is it still anyone's guess?). I'm out of contract in the next few days, and the desire s is starting to fade a tad.

I cancelled mine cause I was sick of waiting and I can't really afford this phone at the moment . Will save up for a few months. To be honest anyway I Want something with decent /expandable storage. 16gb not much.

By the sounds of it though I could of sold the phone for €100 profit. I shouldn't of cancel it!

On my third attempt I managed to get the phone ordered on Dec 9, Google Commerce received it on the 10th with a 6-7 week delivery. I've just checked my Play account and the order date has changed to Jan 2nd...so based on other feedback here, hopefully should be receiving my shipping email today / tomorrow

Mine arrived on the 27th in London but only got back yesterday. Need to get a sim card though so have to wait 5 days:(..

My UTi tracking number was updated with the customer reference number today too. I was able to use that DIR number on the GLS website, https://gls-group.eu/EU/en/home

The GLS track and trace shows a Parcel Force reference number but mine is not showing any details on the Parcel force website yet.

Exact same for me! They deliver at 7am the next morning. And if it misses tomorrows delivery they do weekend deliveries!

Collected mine this morning at Parcel Motel I had a date of 4-5 weeks and that date was bang on! Its amazing, I couldnt be more happy with it. The glass back is the only downside but I'm getting a case anyway. Never been happier to unsubscribe from a thread.

Starting to get very worried here.

Got a shipment email on the 28th of Dec.
It gave me a UTI number link ( which of course didn't work)
Went to www.go2uti.com and it appears it arrived in dublin the 28th.

My final address is to relatives up north but there's no mention of any address or expected delivery time.
Since 28th is the friday before new years I expect it wouldn't be touched until the 2nd.
But that's still 3 full working days to deliver.

Is there any extra ways to track the order ?

This is what my tracking looks like:

After a few days the Customer refrence "DIR xxxxxxxx" appeared. Type the xxxxx number part into GLS and that will give you new information and possibly a Parcelforce Tracking number.
