God it's so nice to chill out and read my books and do nothing.
    Better study later.
Had to enrol for the tutorial for the subject so it's more likely I'm going to be doing it.

My brother and his fiancé got the keys to their house yesterday so they're up in the new house and cleaning etc. Despite the fact my driving test date has been known for ages mum is making ME seem like I'm being the bitch by wanting to ummm use the car today. She was meant to come back with my nephew who she's looking after while they're up in the new house so I could go out and ye' know just do the little things again, reversing around corners etc. She just rang and asked me (again) what time the test is at and then sighed and said ''that means I won't have much time up here then if I've to be back THAT early''

Oh **** off  Might not even get to do the test at this stage because poor sis in law will now have to go back to look after her child while I do my test.

God I'm such a bitch. How could I be so awkward and inconvenient.

She knows I need to practice the reversing around corners, what I failed on last time and haven't done since :o and then says ''well you should have practised before now''

uh when? she never comes out in the car with me and the cars never there at weekends

My mam is a bit like that too DQ. I know the feeling. I wasn't allowed to drive from the primary school to home one day because we "weren't prepared". It's about half a kilometre.

Need to find a dress to wear out tonight. There was a bag I fell in love with a few weeks ago in the village thing in Kildare. Wonder if its still on sale.

Good luck with your driving test today rq

I'd love to offer to come out in the car with you RQ, definitely wouldn't be a driving test kinda car though. Also it's wonky. I should stop looking at dresses and get it bloody fixed.
    Good luck on your test.

If I get to do it and fail(which I probably will) or don't do it and have to rebook I might end up needed N plates now. :(

Really need more money so I can buy my own car. Same crap cropped up around the time of first test. Theres a pattern here, no wonder I failed when no one would drive with me...

Yeah, you should get a heap of junk and go out in it if you can. My own instructor told me while I was learning there was no point going much more until I got my own and got out practising.

Kildare village is mental today, I went past it earlier and the tailback was about a mile long onto the motorway!

Sitting on a plane and there's a delay because they need an engineer to look at the plane - not my favourite announcement!

Ella don't feel bad, you didn't and haven't done anything wrong - that pr1ck did

    Neyite - result!!

RQ - I've been there... It is indescribably frustrating when other people are being horrible then claim you're being unreasonable as there's no way to argue without furthering their point in their eyes of your unreasonableness! Best of luck for your test x

May be jumping the gun but that sounds like an allergic reaction. I'm allergic to a load of things and one of the reactions I have had is itchy mouth, throat and ears. Next time you're with your doctor mention it.

I had to go to caredoc this morning, agonising pain in my shoulder and neck since yesterday evening. Turns out I have a trapped nerve. Caredoc is sending a report back to my gp recommending an mri on my neck and shoulder. I just bawled my eyes out when i was with caredoc, I am so fooking sick of all this crap just because some arsehole couldn't open his eyes before pulling out onto the road.

I'm on zydol and valium. This may be my last coherent post today lol

I hope it isn't an allergic reaction, I love fruit too much not to eat it :(

Hope you aren't in too much pain/too uncomfortable, take it easy for a while :)

This probably sounds very strange as I'm not religious, but anytime I eat meat, be it in a restaurant or cooking at home, before I eat, I actually think about the fact that what I am eating was once a live animal, and I mentally give thanks to that animal and hope they had a humane end, and a happy life no matter how short it was.

I try and buy the most ethical meat I can afford, I can't afford organic all the time, but I try to buy free range chicken etc.

With the others, I hope that small moment of thanks and consideration for their life I hope is thanks?

I'm so glad someone else does this too!!! The boyfriend thinks I'm nuts :)
I can't eat lobster even though I'm sure I'll love it (I love ALL the fish) because I can't get past how they're cooked alive :(

That suck Pixiebean!! I got my first ever trapped nerve a few weeks ago in my shoulder blade and I genuinely thought I had somehow broke it in my sleep- couldn't lie down or sit up or anything, it was awful.

I'm so bored. The new computer that I ordered didn't arrive during the week (the bloody keyboard did.) And I was planning on building that this weekend. I have no money to go out. So I'm sitting here refreshing forums. Forums full of people out living interesting lives.

    Thanks.

I think kiwis and strawberries are common fruit to be allergic to. If you take an antihistamine it should help the itchy yuck feeling.

I was thinking mad things, trying to figure out if I could've dislocated it or something. Hope you have some nice drugs for your pain.

Can't remember if I told you all, the gardai confirmed they're going to prosecute him for dangerous driving. At the time of the accident, he had a ladder on the roof of the van so I suspect he may need his licence for work, in which case he will probably get away with it or just a small fine or something. Sadly in Ireland a fine of less than €200 and no penalty points is quite common for this type of offence :(

What's Kildare village like on a Sunday? Is it usually rammed?

This time of year it is seriously mental.

The queue when I was going past it today was taking about 30 minutes to get people in there.
