I ordered bits for a Turbo Starlet from Southside Motorfactors, I even got dampers from him next day. They're on Kylemore Road in Dublin

Maybe I'm missing something but I thought that would be common practice for all cars barring the exotic?

Filled up at 159.9 this evening :D

It's only when I start looking on donedeal that there's a very limited amount of nice cars there. I've yet to see anything suitable to make me want to change.

    RX8 ;)

**** the insurance on that! Although it'll either be something small and very slow or something cheaper and much faster than the Astra. No 1.8/2.0 na unless it's a Honda , which still won't work due to insurance anyway :pac:

2 on my own after this year. 2 named years but liberty don't count that the bastards. I'd love either but they're beyond what I'm willing to spend. I could spend up to 13k with my car but I've saved so hard there's no way I'm gonna throw it all on a car.
I'd love a cheap car like an e36 convertible that I could improve, if I got one cheap enough I'd almost pay someone to do a 325 conversion on it. I'll only go up past the 6k mark if it's something cheap to run and slow but still nice....like a fiat 500 :pac:

Did you miss the part about the 325 conversion? As I said before I'd like 323/5 first but because there are such slim pickings, if I could get a nice 318 then I would do a conversion.

Also, that rolly eyed face should be kicked out the door!

Apart from what appears to be a major amount of fun does anyone know the story behind this video?

What do you mean a conversion? Like the way in Knight Rider years ago they gave it a convertible option and 300mph boost!?!

Here you can see how the first time VW tests its vehicles.

Id say its just people messing about. But they do prove a good point. :D

EDIT: Or maybe its really is VW doing that, I cant know for sure though.
