That may be true most of the time but today he went to the opposite extreme on a movie he saw and liked. So much so I think I'll go and see the movie! Next I'll be paying attention to Jedward :rolleyes:

My missus is Spanish, they don't change their name when getting married. Everyone in Spain has two surnames, your father's first surname and your mother's first surname, so our kids have my surname and her first one.

Eg José Gomez Sanz marries Maria Fernández Ruiz (I just made these names up), then the kids will be (say) David Gomez Fernández, Daniela Gomez Fernández etc.

It would appear to be a reasonable compromise between having stupidly long surnames and the woman not being able to pass her name onto her kids (but her grandkids won't have any trace of her name).

Not quite! Somebody emailed in asking if Catriona McFadden's fiancé, JP Devlin who was mentioned during the week on Mooney was the same JP Devlin who is a regular on Saturday Live. He read out the email, it said something like "I was listening to the Mooney show on RTE1..." and he said "I don't know why" in a sarky tone! He must listen the odd time too!!!

Every day is Groundhog Day on Mooney.

Kelly Clarkson has a fine set of pipes to be sure, but Brek's renditions are like nails on a blackboard /shudder.

She really must have eased up on the training make that kind of transformation in the space of 4 months.
