    Only seeing this now :D

I remember seeing that before the game! I thought maybe they were actually being friendly or something, but no... He turned around after that and did the w*nker gesture to Ribery!

They're team mates at Bayern so I think it was just friendly taunting. Ribery's expression has made my night tbh. :D

Delighted for Italy, totes deserved it over the 120mins, would have been a total injustice if England'd've won.

Got all four predictions correct as well. (although in fairness the only hard one to call was tonight's game)

Spain V Germany in the final I'd say.

    Pirlo is the man.

Delighted Cole missed the peno! Couldn't happen to a nicer guy! :D

Alves was unlucky with his penalty, an inch lower and it could have gone in! Fair dues to Spain, they're a different class to Portugal though. Hoping for a good match now tomorrow night as well! :)

I'm dreading the final now tbh. Both Spain and Italy'll play cagey and it'll be a bore-fest.

I'm a little bit more optimistic. The same two teams had a very entertaining group game a few weeks ago, despite the low score-line.

In other news, Nadal is getting knocked out of Wimbledon!

Rosol was unreal there, completely outplayed Nadal.

I stuck 50c on a 2-1 scoreline and 4euro on Italy qualifying for the final. Won a nice 19euro. \o/

And I expect the final to be a cracking watch since the group stage game between the two sides was fantastic.

Rooting for Italy, mainly for Pirlo. He's so sublime that I've developed a big man crush for him. Loved Brady's comment that Pirlo dominates midfield with a cigar in his mouth.

Player of the tournament by some distance. They don't make them like they used to.

We now have a claim to fame - Ireland lost to both finalists in the Euro 2012 tournament!:p:D

Looks like we didn't do so badly after all!

Aww, just saw the same thing said on the Yaah thread...beaten to the punch!
Stings worse than a Balotelli shot to the face!:o

    Anyone watching the TDF?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 373 ✭✭HandsomeDivil

Been watching the highlights on TG4, good to see Nicholas Roche doing well :) A couple of nasty crashes today though!

Watched the last 60k's with the French commentary on, much better that way:D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 866 ✭✭✭Palytoxin

Serious crashes today alright!, but the french commentary would be too much for me to handle! ;)
Sagan is looking very strong, left them for dead in the finish today, Chavenal did well in fairness to him to keep ahead for as long as he did too.
The scenery in the places they're going through is unbelievable! :) I have been watching it on eurosport or tg4 but I might try itv4 tomorrow for a change too.

    Go Federer!

(I don't really care either way, but I just want to see how fast Andy Murray goes back to being Scottish rather than British. :pac:)

Never got why they have that big interview with tennis players like three seconds after losing the Wimbledon final, bit harsh.

They do the same in snooker. Ding Junhui lost the world final a few years back, and about 30 seconds later they'd a camera in his face. Poor man barely speaks English at the best of times.

Same in the UFC. Fighters are expected to give interviews after fights, sometimes within minutes of having been knocked unconscious!
