Style wise I really like the new one, but not having a direct My Threads link is so irritating. I know there's a "Followed Threads" link in the notifications thing that takes you to your CP, but it's just not the same.

Going out to celebrate two friend's birthdays and I'm not really up for going but I can't say no because I know they'll be disappointed. We've gone out for a dinner to celebrate it already but this is the drinking celebration
, but I'm just not mad about drinking in general or going out to drink , it just gets a 'meh' response from me which I think people kind of find hard to grasp, but I'm just not interested (not to mention I'm a complete lightweight because of that). They're having a pre-drinking session before that which again I'm not interested in but feel pressured to go. I almost feel bad that I don't get excited at the prospect of going out drinking, or going to any nightclubs, but would rather stay in or do anything un-drink related. 
Not to mention my computer is being so irratating by refusing to connect to the internet point blank so I have to use another laptop!:pac: That was some emotional rant, feel better though! :pac: Haven't seen the new boards set-up yet for some reason!:) 0 -

I'm the exact same about the whole drinking and going out situation! All of my friends in college go out at least twice a week and I'm just not bothered at all which they find strange. I hardly drink because I can have fun without it and am not interested but like you, I feel pressured to go out with them which is so annoying at times!0 -

But I actually get really bored (in a pub setting) and I can't relax if I'm still in some way aware of myself (I've never actually got wasted again probably slightly anxious about doing that) which means that people around me can tell I'm not having the best time ever and I feel really bad as I feel it's not fair on them and that I'm ruining their night even though they were the ones that asked me to go out. 0 -

Yeah I have never gotten crazy drunk either and I wouldn't be the best dancer so I don't enjoy it which only makes me more self-conscious! I remember it was my friend's birthday a while ago so we all went out to Dandelion and I was actually enjoying it but the whole night he just kept asking if I was ok and whether I was having fun and so it made me wonder whether I looked like I was bored. It made me feel bad about having him worry on his birthday and I also felt weird because I had been enjoying it but it didn't look like it.0 -

Strangely enough, since the end of the Leaving I've gone out way more than usual, and I really enjoy it now. I'm even considering going out any night a few of my friends are heading out over the summer, just because I won't have much on, and it's the easiest way to meet up with everyone. But yes! I seem to get on grand not drinking in college, even though sommmetimes everyone's like "Lets go out and get off our tits!!" and I feel like saying... "Can't we just stay in and play.. chess?" But that's only the odd time, and pretty much any time you go out anyway it ends up being fun! 0 -

I have the exact same attitude as you, I never actually look forward to going out but then when I do go I end up enjoying myself! I guess I'll just have to force myself to be more sociable :P0 -
