Poulter defeated. I really thought he might have gone far. He seems to play very well in matchplay.

    Poulter defeated.

Thank god, save having to listen to Bruce Critchley babble on about him all weekend.

Darren Clarke tending the flag, then clapping and slapping Watney on the back appears so wrong to me even if it was for eagle.
If i was playing my club matchplay and i was 4 down after 10 or 11 holes i wouldn't be smiling away,i would be grinding like F... and DC should be no different........ah well he'll, have the consolation of a tasty cheque.

A bit odd alright but it was a hell of a shot by Watney.

Tiger doing some serious bushwhacking, looks like going 1 down.

So much for Bang Sae Moon being a token Asian Tour player, 4&3 over Poulter is a great result.

Great scalp there for Robert Rock, amazing what a win can do for your confidence.

Seems he is not a fan of Bruce!
@IanJamesPoulter Well Bruce Chritchley talks complete bollox most of the time anyway. Sorry sky sports viewers for having to listen to his crap every week.

    Clarke's gone. Shock :pac:

Full support for that tweet from Poulter. Critchley is a fawning mess.

Bit harsh from Poulter, not endearing himself to Sky which is never a good idea for a European. He has a point though, Critchley makes way too many mistakes these days...time to go.

What in the name of god did Jimenez say in that interview?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,057 ✭✭✭irish bloke

You'd have to fancy the yanks to have a winner here with 34% of the field dominated by them.

Next to them is England and S Africa with just over 9% each.

Not a Paddy in the field:(, thought Lowry would have made it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,080 ✭✭✭bigtimecharlie

Rory now 1 up due to bogies from his opponent.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,057 ✭✭✭irish bloke

Ernie maybe worth a punt there???

Called it... If only I put my money where my mouth was:)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,431 ✭✭✭dvemail

I think Keegan Bradley is the man to beat this week, will also probably be Americas top player come Ryder Cup with the way he plays matchplay.

you like your percentages,i'll give you that, but i really don't see how it's really that relevent.
The way the draw works it might favour an international winner with most of the yanks knocking each other out.

Agree, just pointing out over a third of the field are yanks and theoretically they have a 1 in 3 chance of winning it (not taking rankings into perspective or course, as anyone can beat anyone in this format really)

The "Get in the hole!!!" brigade are out in force. I'd like to shoot them with something. Non-lethal of course.

Tiger's caddy just has a sneaky look at Watney's bag to see what club he was playing. Cheeky.

How far does Rory have to progress to get to World No.1 ?

Not for much longer. After Watney gets line of sight + Immovable obstruction relief he'll chip & putt for at least a half.

    Or maybe not.

If Tiger plays like that in masters , he could miss cut.

He has to win it, same goes for Westwood as well.
