    I emailed the Dungarvan 10 miler crew a few weeks ago telling them not to send me out my number cause I was sick.
    It arrived in the post this week anyway so now I'm tempted again. It's a good race (did it last year) and even though I'm not really race fit my 10 mile PB is a bit soft so I should have a decent chance of beating it :D

    There's a good few going down and we had great craic in Cork last year, just trying to recreate that with the added benefit of it being my home town and the hope that Granny will look after the kids! ;)

    Thursday 26th - 3.24m in 0:30.31 @ avg pace 9.25/165 avg HB - MAx HR 198:eek:

    Decided to go up Chesterfield Ave today trying to beat the wind at its own game...no such luck. Very cold and windy again today until i turned on North road and then is was lovely, warm & sunny:confused:

    m1=9.30/169
    m2=9.27/170
    m3=9.21/167
    m.24=9.10/168

    i just looked at the details of my run and see that my Max HR was up at 198:confused:...i have no idea why as i wasn't going too fast and this is the rate it would be at when i am racing...maybe the battery is going or else my body is trying to tell me something!!!!

    Totals :D
    WTD: 11.94
    MTD: 33.15
    YTD: 33.15

    m4=9.38/166
    m5=9.45/168
    m.21 9.34/180 final part up long incline so HR also goes v high

    I'm having this problem on recovery runs, there isn't enough sweat in cold weather and at slower speeds for the contacts to make a good connection, I've given up remoistening them:o.

    Thur 2nd - 5.09m in 51.12min @ 10.04 avg pace 165 avg H/B

    Legs were a bit sluggish today, had a stomach bug yesterday and didn't get out so think today was just lack of sleep affecting me, head wasn't in the run either so pace felt all over the place.
    Todays run was suppose to be a 1m easy followed by 30min@MP, 1 m easy but it went like this:(

    m1=10.40/149
    m2=9.56/168
    m3=9.50/166
    m4=9.51/169
    m5=9.58/175

    Total Miles:D
    WTD: 8.60m
    MTD: 5.09m
