Vectra - Seems to have bonded ok - the true test will be to see how the next wash goes, all going well a quick rinse should have it gleaming again!

Key is getting rid of the remnants of existing waxes etc - thats why I started off with the de-ionozer on the paintwork. I got advice to double the strength of normal shampoo/wash dilution, so I did this for the snow foam rinse & hand wash. Foam was done with hot water, hand wash with luke warm.

Bonding wasn't an issue (I hope!) got none of the tell-tale signs of non-bonding such as white haze. Beading is certainly noticeably different in the last day or 2.

If the weather is ok this weekend, I may tackle the Superb which has a bit more metal & labour involved!

Still waiting on the pump dispensers from detailer.ie that I ordered in September

Have also experienced very poor customer service from detailer.ie

I order from the UK now.

Did you get some of the special shampoo to go with the BW ? I read somewhere that normal shampoo can have an adverse effect on it.

I was going to polish my car with some CG P40 first or DA it with some menz products. just to get a good clean base before applying the BW.

Of course wash with a solution of car shampoo and APC to clean first.

Nope, just stuck with the Maxi Suds from Chemical Guys I normally use. Some useful how to videos on youtube if you search for Wolfs BW

Hmmm I might just buy into this Wolf's trap. Are you all buying direct or from one of the UK sites?

I bought my Wolf's products from Andy at Detailer.ie but I have no idea what the situation is now with him. Give him an email or a ring.
Otherwise it is a case of getting it from the UK for now.

He never answers emails nor does he ever answer the landline or mobile

I did stick up for him in the past with regard to this but I can now see that trying to contact him is a joke. You may aswell try ringing god!

Apparently your not allowed to post up why he doesn't answer the phone... luckily for me I happened to see a post about it before it was deleted. Lets just say that I got a refund on a detailer.ie Groupon voucher yesterday.

This detailer.ie issue has been dealt with in numerous threads and forums already. There is an issue that I'm quite sure many of the posters highlighting it already know about. It would be best if it was left out of this thread.

In fairness, I spent 3 weeks trying to get hold of them and did a search on here trying to find out if anyone else had a problem without any luck. I just happened to see a post on it yesterday otherwise I'd still be wasting my time.

Made a start at my one today between drizzle sessions.

    Washed and dried the car
Started with the bonnet and 2 front wings
Gave them a good prep with Chemical Guys P40 polish

Buffed that off and straight on with the BW

On the the roof and pillars with the P40 again, Buffed and applied BW again.
Gave this 15 minutes and wiped off the bonnet wings then the roof.
When I say "wiped" it literally was only a wipe. Couldn't believe how easy it was to get off.
Just as I finished the roof there was a nice drizzle again which turned into a mini shower.
Had to take the wife to the beautician and was happy to see the water running off the bonnet.
    Nice shine as well.

Once I get the full car coated i will apply a second coat. That should do it for the winter.

No pics yet as didn't have time but there is a distinctive difference between the front wing and door in whiteness and shine.
Hopefully have it finished by the weekend and will put up a pic or two then, ( Providing there are no objections here as some members don't lime when I post pics of my car )

Jaysus, I thought I was fussy with my Meguiars Ultimate Compound, Tech Wax 2.0, and Nxt Generation Car Wash 2.0, with my buffing clothes and clay.

I've never even heard of all this other ****!
