Sure look at twitter, its a multi million dollar business based solely on people posting their most pointless, irrelevant daily activities....so this thread should have no problem staying on top.:D

Don't mind him, he's a contrary bastard at the best of times

    Oh.

I also used my wipers at some stage.

And switched on my lights around 5pm this evening.

And used the cigarette socket to charge my phone.

Typo, this fúcking keyboard is fúcked. Writing reports is a nightmare :(

Edit: yeah yeah naff all people these days have never heard of the need to adjust the clearances in their tappets with a feeler gauge every 10k miles but hey there are some that get a kick from this. Hydraulic shims have taken a lot of fun away :(

Some LED's fitted in the handle recess of the Toledo yesterday
Anyone know how to dull them down a bit?
I think they are a tad bright

I was thinking of a resistor or something to cut down the voltage getting to them?

They're not much power going to an LED, resistor won't do much...tint would work I reckon

Give Owen a shout, he had plenty red LEDs in the JCW. I think the right value resistor would work fine.

Well, I put the exhaust back on. Tiring but fun and it doesn't sound like a Starlet any more. Job done.

Filled my speaker pods with fibreglass, resoldered an intermittent tweeter connection and hoovered the carpets.

Engine is misfiring when accelerating so I've just dropped it into my local garage to see what's up with it.

Didn't do anything to the car itself but filled up my wheel brightener and all purpose cleaner bottles and spilled loads of it everywhere. Still waiting on the pump dispensers from detailer.ie that I ordered in September

With the mild weather, gave the car its pre-winter prep wash on Sunday. Started off with Wolfs de-ionizer on the wheels & paintwork. Followed up with pre-wash with the foam lance, then hand washed with Chemical Guys Maxi Suds. Car was dried & then finished off with Wolfs Chemical Wrap.

First time I have used a nano-sealant, I've heard good reports on the Wolfs Chemical Wrap, so will be interesting to see how it holds up.

Apologies for the poor quality pic (from the phone)

Did the Body wrap work ok for you?
I have read the car needs to be washed with a solution of APS or get a good wipedown with IPA before using BW?
Was it warm or did id cure in cool weather?
I have a bottle here waiting to be put on my car but the bloody rain is holding it back. Want to get it on for the winter
