All in it came back on my card as €103, didn't get hit for tax. Wheelbuilder seem to have dropped their.postage costs.

nice surprise when I got home today :D Does it make a difference if I use a braze to band-on adapter for FD or should I just sell the FD and buy a band-on

    CHINARELLO.

From one the guys on RBR who rides one-he cannot fault it and certainly rides better then he expected. He did have an issue with the cable guide under neath so will be interested to know whether this has been
sorted as when a 56cm becomes available I may not be able to resist!!
    WRT the FD
Wind a braze on and clamp you can use and 'normal' chainwatcher that bolts onto the bolt. With a band on you have to get a different chain watcher.
Apart from that six of one-half dozen the other

This was a complete rush of blood to the head purchase, glad I did though. Super comfortable from the word go.

    Just got one of these:

    giro-prolight.jpg?w=192&h=128

Giro Prolight from probikekit.com . Was €140 - the blue ones were about €15 cheaper. Wore it on the Swords CC spin on Saturday morning and it felt perfect but I'm not sure how comfortable it will be on my baldy bonce without the padding afforded by my hat.

They are supposed to be good for climbing so I was disappointed when a grapple didn't shoot out from the top to drag me up the hill at Snowtown.

.......5 words I'm always happy to see pop in my email.

Santa was late this year but today these arrived today.....

Molteni Retro Jersey - Short Sleeve

    Molteni Retro Cotton Cap

(I think someone else has these on here)

    Santini 'H2O' AcquaZero/TwistGel Bibtights

.....and a new Garmin 800......just so I quantify how slow I am:)

Just arrived this and this and this.

Came in a nice big box that made others to ask what's inside. And inside even more smaller but nicer boxes.

Stuff ordered on 8th of Feb. So quite fast I'd say coming from Germany.

Some shiny race wheels for me.

    From bike-palast.com:

    Fulcrum Racing Zero wheels (2009)
    Conti GP 4000S tyres
    Conti race lite tubes

Ultegra 11-25 cassette coming from wiggle (wimped out - possibly should have gone for 11-23, particularly as they will be used on a compact).

The wheels look awesome but might look a bit funny on my Specialized alu steed. Hope they are still in one piece whenever I get around to scratching together the funds for a carbon frame.

Really like the look of that! Are they good quality for the money?

They're not made from wool, but the quality seems pretty good. I've a couple of jerseys from Prendas and they've always been fairly hard wearing.

Time to get a more expensive hobby. Powerboat racing maybe?

Capt. I am genuinely shocked to here that. If this is the first time in 5yrs that you have no balance on your cr card you really should (1) seek a cheaper form of credit and (2) speak to someone about budgeting.
Seriously. That behaviour is actually very very dangerous.
    Just saying.

Nothing too fancy but it'll be nice to have a computer on the bike. I would have bought this from the lbs but they were about €20 dearer.
