    just after my first exam, and got this question. how hard are the lecturers trying to pass you in the second year? another words are they tougher in passing you than in the first year? does it depend on lecturer checking the papers? just curious...

    Finding it impossible to study anywhere this year. So for my final option, tomorrow I try the quiet room (does it even have sockets?!)
    If that fails, there are worse things than being a barmaid the rest of my life..right? :rolleyes:

    There are sockets on the wall on one side of the room. The seats there always fill up really quickly though.

    First exam over, GY114. Short questions went terrible but the long question went well, so overall pretty good

    Then I go to the Arts Block and find Bewley's closed :(

    What's the deal with bags/coats and the like? Says you're not allowed to bring them into the hall, so is there someone who takes them/somewhere to put them during the exam?

    There's a cloakroom in the sports hall for them. I just stash my bag on top of an arts block locker meself though.

    You have to put them into the changing rooms. That's at what they do at the sports hall anyway.
