The beauty of vehicles abandoned in rural Australia - they don't rot!
Im thinking about making an offer either way. Owners don't realise what they have.

Do make an offer, that looks like a '56/'57 and pretty rare, especially in that condition.

Its actually nuts how rust free that VW is if you look closely at it, imagine if it was in this country, you could hold an auction!

Might look rust-free in Oz, but after a salty voyage home? :D

that van sure would look deadly rat-rodded but it'll have to pass inspection their or nct here and thats a nightmare in itself let alone getting it road able.

i bet with a battery and some " start ye bast*rd " it'll go first time... not very far but it will turn over.

I have a lot of bad memories from that b1tch of a Holden. They dont survive dirt roads very well! I replaced the back stub axle in it then one of the front ball joints popped within a day.

The Van is in great structural condition, only problem is that its just on 800km west of sydney in the middle of no where.

Beautiful Car mate. Can't beat the old Mini's. Would you have any link or email for the club that organize runs? I'd love to photograph the old cars again.

I remember playing in one at the back of a garage in my youth taught it was cool back then if only I'd known what it'd eventually be worth!

Out of curiosity, what would the one above be worth here?
