Spotted this in Nutgrove SC car park. Talked to the driver and he told me its going back to Germany for a full rebuild. Its original owner was MD of CRH Holdings.

They'd want to wind that rear window up!

Looks mad with the pimp-my-ride low ride look going on.

Spotted these in Nutgrove shopping centre car park too earlier on:

    BMW M535i Automatic:

Pontiac Sunfire (Ok, so it's not a classic, but they're rare enough here):

Seems that Nutgrove is the best place for rare and unique vehicle spotting! :D

It was indeed, sold new out of O'Heas garage in Cork, a well known getaway car for a while anyway..........

It was also the first twelve cylinder E-Type sold new in Ireland!
The car is still around and now lives in Dublin.

Was top notch back then. Mine has it, too :) It's funny, when you get back into a car that old and these "phrases" pop up in the manual. Suddenly you recall advertisements etc. from that time.

I drove a bog standard 1989 1.8E for years - absolutely loved it. Head gasket went on it due to my own negligence. :o

It's true they were everywhere and suddenly they were all gone.

Indeed, seeing this one got me thinking of the last time I saw one here.

And only 5 - 6 years ago they were still fairly common.

I saw an '88 one in traffic at the crossroads of the Stillorgan dual carriageway about two weeks ago. It looked tatty and stunk of petrol but still appeared to be going strong. Funnily enough, it was the second one I saw that day.

The Bedford could also get a mention in the bad parking topic on the regular motors forum.
