This morning outside Hill Motors in Blackrock, Dublin.
Someone was revving the bejesus out of it and the car nearly disappeared in the plumes.

    ALSO (though no pic) -

Spotted a red Fiat 124 Spider in Donnybrook yesterday. Lovely chrome bumpered early model with cromodora alloys. Made me sad for my old one (:() but resolute that someday I will own another :)!

Couples of beetles, fiat500 van, mini, beemer bike.

Yes, we have loads of classics on the road, and people tend to use them regularly too. Amsterdam is pretty car-UNfriendly city so you have to pay for the privilege to own and park a car there. I guess a lot of people compensate this by choosing a Tax free car :D

btw, the two 'unknown' cars are Skoda 1200 Estate from 1953 (by checking the reg, we can learn it was imported in 95 by the current owner, since it was not registered in someone elses name after that) and a Renault 4.

The white small car is not a classic at all: it's a moped-car. It has a small moped engine and you can drive it without a car license. Popular among OAP's and young lads who want to 'drive' somthing on 4 wheels at the age of 16 instead of a moped...

Thanks very much for clearing that up! Amazing city, only made better by the amount of old cars there!

    Some recent blue oval sightings.
Ropey old MK3 Cortina in Tralee, it's fairly hanging.
