I'd just like to say thanks a million to batteries not included for the code, picked my netbook up in blanch today

I picked up mine yesterday. The Android dualboot configuration is pretty much useless, but apart from that I'm really impressed. I never used a netbook before (actually I once had an Olivetti Quaderno, hence my name...) and I think I will get used to it fairly quickly :)

The palm rest on mine is silver, not white as in the pictures, but that's probably a good thing. After getting rid of about a gigabyte of bloatware (including nearly 700MB of Acrobat Reader) I partitioned the drive into 50GB c: and about 160GB e:, while d: is the 4GB Android partition which apparently can't be merged with any of the others. I'm currently encrypting the whole thing with truecrypt, which is a must for any device that is to be carry around.

I strongly advise to "burn" the recovery (factory default) discs before messing with the partitions and found the "Virtual CD"-software extremely useful. It can be downloaded at http://www.virtualcd-online.com, a 30 day trial version is sufficient and free. You can easily "burn" the discs to iso-images and store them on another machine or external drive, they can then be turned into real media later should you ever need them. The same software is also very helpful for the encryption of the netbook with Truecrypt, because you can easily burn and mount the recovery disc (to verify it) for Truecrypt as well.
If anybody needs help with it just ask.

    And finally:
When I ordered my netbook immediately before starting this thread on wednesday I received an order number valid from saturday to monday. I checked again after the stores had closed on thursday and could then reserve one for pickup yesterday, on which I am typing this right now. To cut my 100th post short:

I have one order number to give away, which is valid for the Tralee store immediately til monday inclusive. Just reply and I will send it out.

P.S. One seems to be available in the Killarney store right now.

The android boot is handy in that it boots very quick and the android browser (not firefox) makes good use of the screen size with full screen browsing. Is slightly awkward to navigate though, right mouse click for menu, esc for back, windows key for home, works better with mouse

according to http://argosstock.com/ they are sold out nationwide (or all reserved) but I'm not 100% sure of the accuracy of the site.
