Caught a bit of this last night and thought the ribbing of Jedward was a bit OTT, I wouldn't be their biggest fan but the hatred they incite from some people is pathetic. Jack Dee wasn't even funny he was just being an arsehole but i suppose he's based his whole career around that gimmick.

Jack Dee isn't funny imo, he's just bitter and always has been.

I miss Simon Amstell! At least he was funny and cruel. Jack Dee , well, I was actually waiting for him hit them!!

Noel Fielding said during the week that Simon had ruined NMtB because celebrity guests were afraid to come on in case they got an awful slagging!

The celebrity host on the first episode was a little weird - he looked a bit like Mark Lamarr with the hair, but acted like Simon Amstel.

The Wogan episode was hilarious. Rufus Hound slagging the Mancs was hilarious.

How much of that do you think was scripted? Apart from the obvious reading of the auto-cue though. Loved when they started making fun of him becoming a knight.

I thought the last episode was brilliant! Loved how Terry Wogan couldn't keep a straight face when reading the autocue! I found him to be quite funny though and the Lord Terry bit was great.

Imelda Mays accent makes me cringe. . .

All in all I'm really enjoying this series!

I still think the best host of this season so far is a tie between Jack Dee and Terry Wogan. DoD was funny enough but it wasn't anything hilarious; that being said, I did really enjoy the cup on a string.

I thought he was alright but no way should he be permanent. I like the fact that they've different people hosting it. The only recent mistake was that cabbage Ronson.

Yeah, maybe I was exaggerating, he'd probably become tiresome after a few episodes. Guest hosts seems to work pretty well.

DoD was pretty funny.. but felt a bit out-of-place as a host.

Did love him saying to Noel Fielding that he can have this "cup of a string", and then pulling it back!

Yep. It was bad. God, who thought it would be a good idea to get Westwood? Found it kinda funny that they were somewhat respectable to JLS, had it been Simon Amstel, this would not have been the case.

Yeah, Westwood was just awful. My favourite bit was when Noel Fielding insulted his comic timing, Westwood didn't have a clue how to reply to that one.

And then he wouldn't stop pushing that blasted button. Funny to see Pat Sharpe back again. Hilarious when himself and the opera singer, who turned out to be pretty funny, so tempted to pick him in the lineup. Then Westwood uses it at the end. Way to destroy something that was funny there, gob****e.

Lee Mack was excellent.. reminded me slightly of Amstell - slightly childish, good fun but not nearly as insulting.

Probably the best guest host so far this series.
