Cheers. You could have a point. The bird in question was in amongst adult Bateleurs as per your pic. I'll dig one out. I assumed juvenile therefore.
Plenty of Tawny's about too - should have a pic to compare (that could be a juvenile bateleur though ;-)

Had a look. You're right. Look like mostly Tawny's with a spattering of Bateleurs in full colour.

    Merci !

The 'eagle' eyed of you may have noticed the dust specks in the camera.

    Those Tawny's are impressive.

Deadly photo's there, The tawny eagle photo's would look good framed on the wall. A good birdwatching trophy:D. Your squacco heron is good too.

A nice cisticola photo as well. I went birdwatching in south africa. There was around twenty different species of cisticola there. Trying to id the different species was hard work:confused:. Habitat, geographical location, plumage and call all went into id work.

Taken in my garden earlier this afternoon. Was out doing a tidy up and there were 15 goldfinches on the feeder!

Went in to get my camera and these guys were left when I came back - God they make some racket when they squabble :)

    Lovely looking birds tho.
