Only a few days to go, and shoud start packing soon.
Still no sign of my tack vest that was ordered back in march.

So looking forward to this as i missed my last 2 trips away due to the bloddy ash loud and need to let off some steam. and pre booked a lot of pyros.

Ps, does it mean that my lipo's are fully charged when smoke starts pouring out of them??

Go back where you got them and demand a full refund or replacement - you're entitled to get smoke !

i got a replacement alright - probably get the smoke experience in the middle of sennybridge this weekend... typical.

At least you'll have a smoke grenade to use.

As the Ham Radio people say "It doesn't work right once you let the smoke out".

do you have anything else to use? just be aware that your vest/webbing does not have to match your faction camo, so if you can not pick one up no need to stress to much

Airsofteire have this in stock - it's a multicam lightweight chest rig:
    http://www.airsofteire.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=285&category_id=9&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26

They're pretty swift with on line sales there and also have a walk-in store in Dundalk.

It is total win - I use one of these in multicam and an OD one for my woodland team camo loadout. Doesn't have all the pouches etc that a ciras vest might have - but you can attach anything with molle/pals loops to the front or back (including hydration pouch etc) and the integrated ammo pouches will hold 12 standard M4/M16 stanag mags (at least mine did last weekend).
Perfect for the warmer weather too.
    Good luck over there dude!

`cheers, i'll see if i can get it before friday.
But just found out my vest from the vestguy arrived in dublin yesterday, so fingers crossed it gets posted out as it will fit the p90 mags

I just got my marshaling shift info from Ian. For operational reasons I have been given two 4-hour shifts.

1600-2000 on Saturday and 0800-1200 on Sunday.
I promise that I shall officiate in this airsoft event with complete impartiality, respecting and abiding by the rules which govern it in the true spirit of sportsmanship.

    Casper's epic post about Sennybridge

Nearest postcode to SENTA entrance: LD3 8RG
    Morrison's supermarket, Brecon LD3 7SE

    http://www.accuweather.com/ukie/mountain-forecast.asp?partner=accuweather

Slightly older maps There are also newer ones on the TA Events website.

    "CIVVIES ON THE FERRY"
Bring photo ID (a Driving Licence will do)
Bring a printout of your booking confirmation or eTicket for the event

Also don't use radios anywhere near the ferry port. They use PMR in there for comms and get VERY annoyed if they see someone on one.

Yeah, a carload of lads in our convoy got serious hassle from habour police just because he saw a motorola radio sitting in the car.

I'm working late tonight, so I don't have access to TA-Events homepage due to it being blocked.

What do we need in terms of paperwork for the event? I know we need the booking card for the ferry we got in the email, but what else do we need?

Does anyone have the GPS coords for the site aswell? Just in case.
