Well worse players than Shepherd have beaten Part but my god, I don't think I've seen Part throw so bloody poorly in all my life!!

I don't get it! I think thats possibly the worst I've seen Part play. I knew he hadnt been playing well for a while, but thought I would have to eat my words after his 1st round match when he looked brilliant!

Part is a far superior player than Shepard but he was close to 20 points down on his first round average.... just not good enough.

The standard so far this afternoon has been rubbish. The start of the Ovens Lloyd match was very good then it went to pieces with Ovens literally throwing it away with the amount of doubles he missed. Lloyd is a very lucky man.

Part was absolute rubbish, many on here would have given him a game. He really should have stayed in England, he looked tired and just couldn't get going. I agree with everyone on here as well, Shepherd really is a twat of the highest order and I can't stand the man. Part didn't deserve to win though as he was woeful.

Let's hope tonight is better.

Now that was more like it! Great match and it's sad there had to be a loser because it was so close the whole way. VdV just wouldn't give up but fair play to Painter for winning it.

Hope Webster, Dolan and Baxter get win tonight!

Barney 4-0 is probably a ridiculous good bet but by far and away the bet of the night is Manley to win. One Dart is such a certainty here. I'm going in big and I reccomend everyone to fill there boots

Webster over 112.5 CO for 8/11
Manley over 108.5 CO for 8/11

I could see this going distance, if had any money left in betting account I would have looked at Webster 4-3 at 10/3.

Nevermind fillin yer boots in this game, over 10.5 180s in Baxter/Anderson game is 8/11. I think thats worth throwing my mortgage on!!

Just saw the replay of Shephard clearly shouting Pri*k behind Part's back earlier, what a scumbag, dont know why Part was so pally with him after the game after that.

Ahhhh feel sorry for Manley if indeed that could be his last appearance at a big tournament. He's a character irrespective of whether you love or hate him. On the subject of Shepherd, saying something like that is completely out of order but you have to ask yourself what made him say it? Was it just something he thought would put Part off his game (didn't need much help there) or was he reacting to something Part did or said?
