Why is there no porno industry in Ireland?

Seriously? If you're looking for an answer to the recession, this has got to be it. Forget about your legalisation of weed arguments and how it generates cash through taxation. Porno is where it's at. The pornography industry in America is a multi-billion dollar industry. The porno industry is non existent in Ireland, and we're missing out on the cash.

It's not about the films really, it's about the production. No point in filming some Irish bird taking it up the gee if the money isn't going to an Irish company. This thread is about stimulating (pun) the growth of a new market and industry in Ireland.

There is but its fairly grass roots at this stage I believe. I remember being up the mountains (on my bike) and hearing people going at it just off the road, and there were a few car parked there (and none for miles) and a hand painted sign at the top of the road/track saying "keep out no entry" or something..

made for an interesting soundtrack for a training session going by them/it.

Well they do have FHM in Norway, Denmark and Slovenia, which all have similar populations to us, and with the constant growing need for our models to get themselves in the press, i don't see why an Irish FHM or similar type mag couldn't go into production.

for the moment, i'll have to make myself happy with lateformass.com
