The owner of the yellow Rolls seems to have a thing for them. I was there three years ago and he was driving a yellow rolls then as well. Parked on Rodeo Drive, top down all day.

imo, that rolls is a case of more money than taste
Indeed, but the owner couldn't really be described as conventional! :)

If you think that model is bad, you should see the previous models... they haven't been cool since the seventies... or maybe even the fifties.
There was seriously bad ones in 80's and 90's!

    I liked the 80's T-Birds.

The 80's Mustang's were another matter, they looked like a Ford Escort.

My Dad tells a story that when he went to the states in 84 he decided to treat himself to renting a true american barge... a thunderbird... Something like what he saw in the movies when he was young. He imagined this big yoke 15 foot long, with fins on the back, armchairs for seats, miles of chrome, whitewall tyres....
He was disappointed when he was greeted with this in the carpark

Saw a black C63 Amg in Kilkee at the weekend. Couldn't get a pic as the fella driving it was just driving up and down the car park all day, and sitting in it parked so every1 could see him.

Was then driving behind a Porsche 911:confused: convertable with the reg "69 gon". When he saw me in his mirror taking a pic (well the passenger taking the pic:p) He floored it and over took the car on front and was GON! I'll try get the crappy pic up i did manage to get.

I posted it a few weeks ago but here it is again (taken in Lusk).

(According to the two brothers who own that one, there's only one other in the country).
