Think people are panicking because early days are showing increases from Shannon and looks like they have Madrid for summer.

No need to panic yet people. In the past summer announcements continue into January. The figures have been v good the last few years and Cork have other airlines too that will be noting the figures

If they didn’t care about Cork they wouldn’t have bothered adding new routes after cutting Amsterdam in March.

However, I don’t think we will see much growth from EI next summer as they won’t have anymore aircraft on order, and the 3 aircraft that are based in Cork are already heavily utilised.

I can see extra flights on existing routes yes but operated by DUB aircraft on a W pattern like GLA and BRS

What are you seeing roughly? I think I'm getting them at 250-300 ish on average. Flights do generally seem to be full alright when I'm on them because they're using the ATS (only needs 136 people). I had a friend complaining about the ORK/AMS prices to me recently, but I don't really remember them being massively cheaper, maybe €50 or so on average? Of course in DUB you can get €100-150 kinda prices which is enviable, but I don't get enough savings out of that, because I'm losing 6 or more travel hours and adding other transport and associated food costs.

Yeah,prices are roughly that, and more. Even months away. It's almost impossible to get away for a few days with teens. Prices are pushing me to go to the sun with RAir.

Any other RA flight is eastern European christmas markets rubbish from next month on. Apologies to those liking the markets.

I look at Shannon and they really have a decent lot of everything.

Looking at FR’s first wave departures on June 1 2026, it looks like all four based aircraft will be 737 Max.
