Ev car drivers who park in the Lidl car charging spots, but never plug in.

They aren't EV parking spots, they are ev charging spots you fools. You are potentially blocking an ev driver who desperately needs to charge.

Try one of the €2 shops, they usually have horrible looking universal remotes for a pittance.

After my breakfast, I made a sandwich to bring to work. I was admirng the lovely sandwich and the temptation was just too much, I had to eat it there and then. Didn't even have time to make another one. Really hungry now 😫

Noticed recently young fellas pulling brushes out of their tracksuit bottoms and brushing their hair quickly.

I had one pass by me today on his scooter, stop, take out the brush, brush his hair quickly, brush back into pocket and off he goes.

It would be the scumbag type.

I went to get blood results from my doctor but he was away so I saw a locum instead. I always ask for a printout of my results (because I love stats!!📊) and I can compare them to previous results. I usually have a look at them in the waiting-room before seeing the doctor, but didn't have a chance this time.

Anyway, I went to the locum who didn't really go through the results like previous doctors, but he asked two questions together that threw me a bit, "Are you on medication for high cholesterol?" and "Have you been diagnosed with diabetes?".

I said no to both but he didn't elaborate on it, and I didn't get a chance to ask him, the way things went. It wasn't until I got home that I looked at the results, and both the cholesterol and the fasting glucose & HbA1c results are normal, and even improved on recent tests.

The trivial annoyance is the way he asked about those things, even though he hadn't seen me before and the blood results didn't show anything to be concerned about. But now I seem sort of concerned even though I shouldn't…🙄

An acquaintance in the biz tells me that those are go-to questions when the "doctor" doesn't know what is going on or is trying to stretch out the time of the consult.

Ta the unnecessary worry questions like these put on people for no reason.

When you want more info about an area and google it and end up with at least 4 pages of adverts for houses for sale in the area.

Wake me up when it's all over.

In the latest Supervalu special offers leaflet, they have a white and red wine from the same producer mixed up.
Confused me for a second when I was scanning it.

The self service area for check-in bags in Dublin Airport is a chaotic mess when it gets busy.

The whole of Dublin Airport is a chaotic mess when it's busy. It's like a significant cohort have either never been in an airport before or just choose to leave their brains at the door.

Builders . Since last October we are contacting builders for a job on our house

They come , sound interested and will be in touch with an estimate . Then nothing , not a text or e mail nothing

We must have had 9 or 10 builders gaslight us and not a word from them

Why cant they just say Nothanks I am not interested instead of leaving us hanging like this

There is an unmanned filling station I use sometimes. There is always a big puddle of fuel at every pump because there is nobody to clean it up.

It is dangerous because after you have been standing in it your feet just slip right off the pedals, your car stinks of fuel for ages too.

How my newborn nephew is seemingly still too small and delicate for me, the uncle, to hold and cuddle yet. But the same parameters don't seem to apply to the SIL's hand-picked friends.

I don't know what next door was smoking or burning in their house last pm, but it absolutely stank!

I kind of ran through the room that borders walls and took one breath, in about 5 mins I was in a foul mood, double vision, buzzy ears and a monumental headache.

Still had buzzy ears and headache this am, I finally ate enough sugar to perk up a bit, but the brain fog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! put mildly, wtf were these ppl doing to cause this two walls away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who wants to be a millionaire tv programme.

The time wasted asking the questions to get to 1000. All p1ss easy and if you get any of them wrong or need to use a life line , you probably aren't going to get that far. And makes the show very slow.

My goodness Bredbabe, hasn't this issue with your skunk smoking neighbours been going on a long time now.

Why don't you call into your local citizens information centre, and ask for advice on what can be done about it. What your neighbours are doing could possibly be considered antisocial behaviour, (and maybe some potential criminal activity is taking place). In there they should be able to offer you some good, free legal advice/options on how to deal with the situation.

I like food but I hate when people get overly excited about it making strange noises and hand gestures.

You might be right Goldengirl. Apparently. crystal meth can range in odours, from ammonia and sulphur, through to resembling the smell of acetone or cat urine. 😵‍💫

This situation is not to be sniffed at.

Yes Deregos, I have been dealing with this for 6 months or so, to the point my mental and physical health are suffering now. *Thanks for remembering.

Once I spotted it wasn't a casual thing with them, I contacted all of those plus the community services/politicians, other than references to reporting to AGS, no help.

I was told candidly by a person who's opinion I have faith in, that its a waste of time as the only thing that would happen is they would get a fine(200€ max) and be back within a few hours.

Ta that things like this aren't seen as a social or public health problem and so are ignored or laughed at.

Ta2 the amount of people who were gung-ho when it was thought it was my fault but disappeared when asked if they could help me with multi reporting's strategy's etc.

I know in some houses the dirty clothes have to be trained to jump into the wash basket otherwise they start to form a pile on the floor beside the wash basket.
