‘green shoots’ for future years definitely appearing, the feile win at the weekend, (young maloney chap has possibility of becoming another Cormac 🇪🇸….heard his scoring stats are up there with his), also the de la salle college u15 team of last season will surely have a few more prospects….a couple of good minor teams and an u20 all Ireland would be great boost in the next 3/4 years….trouble is though the ‘big 3’ could easily produce another ‘limerick’ period of dominance 🥲 still in the space of a few months there is at least something to be optimistic about🤔

regarding Saturday’s final…..it’s probably a 50/50 game. The Clare lads will point to their improvement since April when cork gave them a 7/8 pt beating followed by Waterford’s defeat of them a couple of weeks later by a similar margin ……albeit they were well in it up to the final 10-15 mins.

In any case Two weeks ago a lot of pundits were predicting a kk v Cark final….nice to see that completely turned on it’s head…..Kk supposedly had their best minors in years and cork were also highly praised with ‘son of joe Deane’ conducting their attacking ‘orchestra’ scoring at will. Given our recent underage performances a waterford win would be a huge ‘tonic’ for the county. Clare can wait a few more years given their senior success last year…🤔
