    Welcome to the new thread for Monday Night RAW - which is now moving to Netflix from 6th January 2025!

    The first RAW of the new era is absolutely stacked, featuring the currently announced matches/segments:

    Roman Reigns VS Solo Sikoa - Tribal Combat Match for the Ula Fala and recognition as Tribal Chief for the Anoa'i family.

    Liv Morgan VS Rhea Ripley - Last Woman Standing Match for the WWE Women's World Championship

    CM Punk VS Seth Rollins

    Drew McIntyre VS Jey Uso

    John Cena kicks off his 2025 retirement tour and is rumoured to be back to full-time.

    Logan Paul returns to WWE as the newest member of the Monday Night RAW roster.

    Cody Rhodes and Bianca Belair are also advertised.

    A load of other rumours are swirling around including the debut of Penta, The Rock's involvement and much more…

    So, how do we think it will fare out with the move off terrestrial TV for the first time in 32 years… can it still be referred to as the 'longest running episodic show in TV history'?

    Anything else you'd like to add - do it here now, as RAW moves to Netflix and we move to a new thread to mark the occasion!

    They're surely bringing all the big guns for this one, fully expecting Stone Cold and Undertaker is some capacity and someone like Brock wouldn't completely shock me. I just hope we get them as surprises and not advertised beforehand.

    Hoping Penta isn't Rey's partner as he needs to do his own thing and avoid the common theme of putting luchas with other luchas

    Zelina with Penta as his mouthpiece away from LWO could be good

    Is The Rock scheduled?

    I think Becky and Charlotte are rumoured for returns too, Becky involved in Seth's match? AJ could return for Punk, although I'd prefer just Seth vs. Punk

    I saw this suggestion too about Zelina and Penta. My only concern is that it means we end up getting Penta vs LWO and the ongoing endless Lucha vortex in WWE continues.

    Need something to make the Sky Box worthwhile other than the Darts and GAA ha

    I think Penta will ultimately be a heel figure and Zelina is too much of a face currently. If WWE were able to get Selina De La Renta she would be ideal for that role

    Serious game changer having WWE on Netflix

    Dodgy box not great for watching in my opinion, especially if skipping parts etc. Just too glitchy and I never enjoyed.

    Have watched one event so far on Netflix and it was seamless. Won’t be watching live until a PPV so hopefully live streaming goes ok.

    It's mad that some future stars will not be 'TV stars but Netflix Stars' in the Wrestling world

    Penta might never have a 'TV match in WWE' etc

    Yes it can. It really is a far better offering / value for us here compared to anything we ever had with Sky / TNT.

    If you get Netflix from one of the “cheaper countries” then it’s better again.

    I found I was still having to keep the network when I moved away from the more… conventional methods of having tv channels alright - couldn't rely on the streams holding up for the PLEs in particular. We've always maintained Netflix anyways as kids watch a good bit of stuff on it so it's actually saving me a few quid a month now.

    Smackdown and NXT still air on "TV" in the US I imagine Penta will appear on at least one of those two shows before 2025 ends.

    Having what is for all intents and purposes the network on Netflix is massive for us this side of the water. I've been seeing alot of angry comments from Yanks in a few Facebook groups about having to have 2 or 3 different ways of watching the content where as we have a one stop shop. Not often we don't get screwed over with stuff like this! Will be interesting to see if NF add a subscription bump in the next little while if the consumption is strong.

    Yeah saw this floating around, gross. Especially Riyadh and Hogan's beer.

    I was okay when it was maybe one or two sponsors but this is ugly as hell.

    The Rock has confirmed via twitter that he will be at the Raw Netflix debut.

    Certainly looks like they're leaning into the High Chief/Bloodline hierarchy too.

    Really hope he's at Mania, Rock vs Roman is better than Roman vs Punk (which imo would be suited better to Summerslam)

    I didn't think he was confirmed, just heavily rumoured. Maybe I'm wrong though.

    Seen a lot of people that are pushing for Cody/Rock or Roman/Rock. Which I get as they built up this story between him and Rock post-Mania. At the same time though, Roman/Rock has to happen at some point and the storyline is already laid out.

    They could have set it up to see what it's like on camera? For all we know they could have tried out another 5 options or that could be for another event.

    Whats Pentas english like?? to get fully over, it would have to be pretty decent… is that why some people are trying to hook him up with a valet? I agree, please dont attach him to the LWO or Rey..he deserves to be out on his own..

    I think Seth Vs. Punk deserves a WM match imho, final 3rd part at WM

    Have the day off work tomorrow so going to watch this live I think. Though I've found of late I end up falling asleep on the couch and having to watch the following morning anyways😂
