I don't think Charlotte has ever been able to improvise. If anyone goes off script or something doesn't go to plan she's completely thrown and the most she can do is basically say "I know you are but what am I".

All 3 champs are faces so it makes sense for Charlotte to be the heel anyway.

No she has not. The example I’ve used before is TLC 2019 when it was her and Becky vs Asuka and kairi sane. Kairi gets clearly concussed during the match and both Becky and asuka notice and try and work around it. Charlotte got thick because kairi wasn’t working with her, and she got visibly annoyed.

Early in her main event run the crows starting entertaining themselves and chanted while she was cutting a promo and she was lost.

I don't understand why the wrestlers, for example Liv last night, get cut open then just go and hang out covered in dry blood. Fighting through being busted open might look good but not cleaning up after doesn't.

AJ and Dom was really good. Someday Dom will be a great face I think. A Bron/AJ programme could be awesome too, this close it's harder and harder to tell what's Mania set-up what's not. If this was the Mania match I would be cool with it.

Very curious to see what they do with Penta/Pete/Ludwig going forward. Like strong matches but is this going to be just matches for the sake of it or is it building to a championship programme. 6-man for IC including Dom and AJ?

Not sure why they built up Ivy as a contender so much only for Dakota to win the contender match. At least it means Lyra is getting some stuff to do though. Iyo underwater promo was cool, wonder if this is gonna be the Mania match for Rhea too. Roxanne getting some shine in the Chamber is awesome too.

Sami/KO doing the match in Toronto was a surprise, it'll be awesome but what about Mania? Gunther/Jey stuff was good, not sure how they drag it till Mania though. Being a Finn fan is pain but there was never a chance he was winning over Seth.

Overall, good show and plenty to build on for Mania or future shows.

A 6 man match for IC title makes sense as would expect a ladder match. Although we're just after a ladder match at Rumble.

I think we're getting at least one ladder match at Mania.It was tag titles last year so might be nice to do it for a singles title this year, haven't had an IC ladder match at Mania for a bit.

Honestly, of the candidates only Roxanne or possibly Alexa appeal to me. Anything else is kinda meh.

Bianca and Naomi are going to slide sideways into the Jade return storyline presumably so it won't be them (Bianca/Rhea would be a goodun mind you), we've already had Liv Rhea for months and Bayley needs some time away from the main event scene, though unless they're strapping the rocket to Roxanne this is the likely winner.

I agree with you, Iyo would have been a great Mania match for Rhea especially given their history in NXT.

As for Sami/KO I'm guessing it'll segue into Orton's return in some way to set up a Mania match.. They seem to be already setting up a program for Sami with Kross.

Was watching the "female superstars watch last year's Rumble match" video on WWE's youtube and when Jade came out Liv and Raquel started into the whole "Oh, who could it possibly have been who took her out" acting like it was obviously them. This was posted over 2 weeks ago. I still don't think it was them though.

Bit of a simplistic view there Liz no? There was a story behind Gunther going after Alpha Academy. It's weeks away from Mania. No harm Tozawa and Otis getting a rub from the champ who gets to show how dominant he is.

I kinda feel Gunther has lost his aura, his persona etc., he was an awesome IC champ but now seems at a stalemate, stagnant if that makes sense, might be also his feuds since becoming world champ didn't help him, just my take on it, I may be wrong and Gunther vs. Jey might put on a banger main event at WM, if they do get a main event slot either night

I didn't think it showed him dominant when he ran, and yes I know he is a heel but just felt bad story telling, progression etc., again just my take on it

He didn't just run off from Jey. It would've meant he was then in there with Jey and Otis since Otis wasn't completely out. So a tactical retreat was needed.

Bianca and Naomi seemed to be messing up a few team moments, including messed up tags. Was happy they were beat since think Racquel and Liv will be more entertaining as champions.

That main event was class. Hope this is the opportunity for the womens tag belts to get more focus and shine. Think we're gonna get a Judgement Day split and have Finn/Dom/AJ/Bron for the IC at Mania.

I'd imagine it will be something to the effect of "you all booed me for years and years. Cody couldn't hack the WWE so he fucked off to another company only to come crawling back and have you all cheer him". A petty, childish, jealous version of JC works imo. I'd be massively surprised if MAW featured in any way, shape or form, that kind of cheap heat simply isn't needed.

I think it is going to be great. I think he'll probably come out and say he was always bad but played up the superhero shtick for the money and fame.

There is something in the "hustle loyalty respect" thing that he could turn on the fans. They never had any hustle, were disloyal and never gave him the respect etc etc etc.

Seems so daft to not have him nailed on for shows in the run up to Mania. I hope the angle gets the airing it fully deserves. Like last night and next weeks MSG would have been epic.

I did not expect that ending, but once Rhea started arguing with Bianca I thought it was a possibility. Good job it wasn't a DQ when they started pushing each other. Happy for Iyo. Just hope they do something with her now, though likely she'll lost at Mania.

Either the fans don't like MSG or they just were boooing not getting the matches last night.

I think it's a combination of them not getting the match but also it being elsewhere in New York probably stung a bit.

Punk's promo was awesome, when he's angry and justified then he always delivers. Wasn't expecting a cage match next week, Roman return I assume but not sure what it means for Mania, an odd choice. Definitely feels like a Cena/Punk match is on the cards for future.

Agree on the Lucha Underground comparison too. Not sure what it will lead to though.

Iyo winning was a pleasant surprise. Definitely makes Mania more interesting, triple threat? They've done a good job making the build to Mania, which seems quite far away yet tbh, seem like a lot can change and happen before hand, which is exactly what is needed.

Beckys twitter account is managed by someone, so it wasn't her tweeting. They absolutely got told to take it down after Punk was made aware of it. Also the Punk Roxanne stuff is well worn. I'm a Punk fan but if you don't think it's weird that the guy who has previous for sleeping with co-workers, is now hanging around the PC with "his work kids" I dunno what to tell you. Also he hooked up with AJ, who he went on to marry, while he was dating/just finished dating Lita, who AJ idolised growing up. Who is that Roxanne idolised.......
