That was a wild night! Still gusty this morning, clear skies though there are dark clouds to the west. Could hear the roof tiles rattling most of the night, especially 2-3 and then 5-6 also. No damage thankfully

Seems to be a covering of snow on the Galtees to lower levels, someone nearer might have pictures.

Mace Head always gets very high wind readings, especially in a NW wind, it's a little flat peninsula sticking out into the sea with little to diminish the flow of wind. Looking at the 6z models, the low is a bit more elongated to the North and maybe not as potent? I seem to remember this happening last year with a little system too, where the low moved a bit north and lost shape as it reached Ireland. The odd gust but nothing crazy 15km inland in Mayo right now.

This is just a fast moving jet really. Very hard to pick down winds but some respectable gusts so far. I'd say after midday to 5pm sligo will hv gusts of 90 to 110 kph in a direct NW wind so dangerous enough.

There are some heavy gusts here in North Clare today. I think it’s one of the more potent storms that has come this way in the past year. It’s as bad now I think as it was at 6AM this morning. I’d venture it’s worse actually so the warnings seem a little off for here at least.

Some large branches broken of trees around Galway racecourse damaging the perimeter fencing and blocking the ambulance road, not sure what time of the day it happened.

Heavy rain and blustery in South Wicklow now. Nothing crazy wind-wise but forecast to peak in the next 1-2 hours according to Met Eireann. Be glad to see the back of this system and look forward to some warmth and sunshine next week.

Most stations gusting over 70kmph at 5pm, Roches Point recorded an average of 74 and gust of 102, several over 80kmph, not often you see Belmullet one of the lowest on 69, shock to the system for a lot of the country today. Mostly clear skies in West Mayo since 3 or so.

Max. wind gusts for Irish stations as of now with Storm Noa. I also threw in Hannah from April 2019 as it was the most recent April named storm, rather than the big storm comparison table which I will reserve now for more significant events.

As anticipated, the vast majority have had wind gusts that do not reach yellow warning territory and any orange warranted gusts have been on exposed coasts. Hannah was generally more of a notable event than Noa relatively speaking.
