Hse say on their website you can bring them at the same time if their appointments are on the same date, don't have to bring them at the different times you can bring them together

Its amazing to read that they are now vaccinating 12-15 year olds . An incredible achievement and well done to all involved in the rollout

Daughter, 21 - registered Monday, first Pfizer today (Enniscorthy again)

It’s absolutely fantastic to see the extremely high levels of uptake in all age groups in the country.

Science wins, and the anti-science/anti-vaccine/Doctor Facebook brigade is just a very tiny minority.

    it’s very heartening to see.

    Give it a few days.

Lots of appointments being given to the new 12+ cohort this weekend, and like other new groups, they tend to ramp up at the start and get a bulk done.

Cirywest are doing the 12-15 tomorrow, so maybe that's where all their attention is for that day.

I'm losing my marbles - I'm 34 and still waiting on a 2nd appointment , 3.5 weeks since first dose and I have a high risk child at home , called the HSE and explained and was told I just have to yet everyone I know inside and below my age group is completed and I registered first dose a day before the portal opened...really don't know what else I can do...

Jesus I sound like a Karen...quite down there Karen...

Literally got a text 2 hours after posting this for 2nd dose appointment 😄

You need to be patient. You will get it.

My husband got his second vaccine on day 40. (2 very high risk at home,).

That’s highly unusual though. All my friends and colleagues between 30-34 yo have got the second jab at least a week ago, if registered on the portal on the day of registration being open. Are you in an area where the vaccination centre is overrun? I’d definitely call a different agent and ask why you are excluded.

Anyone get a 2nd appointment for Croke Park yet from the 1987 cohort?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,054 ✭✭✭✭Professey Chin

Croke Park in the 1986 cohort and nothing yet (22 days since 1st dose). I blame the matches based on nothing whatsoever.

Registered my 15 and 13 year olds on Satuday morning and just got word their vaccine will be this Wednesday in Swords.

Does anyone know can we bring their 10 year old sister with us to the vaccination center?

It says on your appointment text that children not getting vaccinated are not to attend. Can't be any clearer tbh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 93 ✭✭gerrykeegan

Just to say that I had the same with my two lads. I rang that 1800 number in the text and they moved the two lads appointment to the same time. No issue at all.

Great to see things moving. Has anyone heard how the age cutoff works for the youngest eligible? My son was born in 2009 but in December so hasn't reached his birthday as of yet. I'm guessing he won't be eligible until then but I can't seem to find a way to talk to the HSE helpline and keep getting caught in an automated response loop.

Contact your local GP. Some GP's are able to administer the shots.
