Wow! What an embarrassing attempt by Power. How the hell have Lavelle and Power been the goalies for the last few years. They're pathetic.

In fairness its not like he has 5 options to hit. Theres zero movement. Its all long ball hit and hope. Blame Joyce, power doesn't have those issues with Corofin

Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

Hopefully another generation of footballers aren't wasted as Comer and Walsh have been, playing off the cuff football.

We have a good batch coming through but they deserve to be part of a set up that maximises the percentages.

I'm talking about the pathetic "save" attempt.

Rush of blood to the head by power

He has a tenancy to go haywire after a mistake

    Ffs heaney

Don't like to see Joyce effin and blinding at him after. Its not like he meant it. Lad has worked his bollix off.

True but Heaney don't take it personal, its a mans game out there

Second goal is one of the biggest issue either training lads or in Galway years gone by with zonal marking defences. Duane shadowed and shadowed and shadowed made no effort to press the ball and force COC into either a rushed decision or an early one. So he had all the time in the world to pick out the perfect pass and straight through on goal.

Let's hope Jack Glynn is ok. Being thrown in at the deep end with the league panned out this year but stuck at well.

Not a bad performance today but never really looked like winning the game either. There are some signs of life there at least. We do seem to lack a bit of physical presence up front when Comer is missing.

Must say Power was very poor for the first goal. Made a decent save for the first shot but that effort for the second was awful watery. He gently flapped at the ball and the Dubs bundled it into the net.

Monaghan will be a decent test before the Roscommon game. Hopefully Comer is OK for that. His hand was well bandaged today so presume he won't be back for Monaghan anyway.

He's a doubt for a while. Possibly Roscommon. Tendon away from the bone. Only benefit compared to previous years is he can continue to train and when he's back it's just ball work he'll need.

That doesn’t sound great. He needs all the game time he can get given how much football he’s missed.

    Conceding way too much again.

9 after 13 and lucky there wasnt another 4 or 5.

Incapable of winning anything up the other end.

O'Neill really starts to need to put his stamp on things here, there hasnt been any development on a cohesive pattern of play in the backs or forwards.

What's keeping us ahead of a few is that we have 4 or 5 of the top 10 players but as a team unit we're extremely poor.

Bad start but starting to get moving. If they can go in only 3 behind they'll be happy enough. Fairly strong breeze to come.

Horgan struggling with the rules as usual.

All our best passages of play have been crisp short passing sequences like we used against westmeath and limerick. For some reason we've decided to play the wilder looser style that waterford excel at. Not sure why we get sucked in to that.

6 down to 4 up. Didn't think we would see that turn around. Really upped it since Joe got the whack in the ribs.

Never a lad if I was playing against I would want to rile. Giving him extra motivation never a wise move.

Think that motivated a whole team whether the dig was intentional or not.

Canning gone into full forward and cathal mannion and loftus gone to midfield has given the team a lot more balance imo.

Brian concannon is having a stormer since the water break

Watched it back a few times. He flicked out but that may of been instinctive when you look up and a player is that close to you.

Thats the way forward. Hes wasted at midfield. He causes complete panic in a full back line.
