He was also the main reason Cork got back into the match, that can't be ignored. The better team won, suck it up!

Galway were hanging on for dear life last 20 mins. The ref gave you a free to win the game. That's what happened.

And a great free it was too, beautifully taken!

Hard luck and all Seadin because it was a very exciting final and Cork showed great character coming back after the red, but if ever there was a county that took our baytins after losing All-Ireland finals in all codes it's Galway. They were the better team on the day, had some decisions go their way and against also them, but it isn't the robbery you're letting on it was.

Here's hoping for another Galway-Cork final. I'd have zero doubt it would get 40k at it if it's happens in 2026 with all the fallout after the full-time whistle. Camogie needs strong rivalries to help take that next step so hopefully this rivalry might be the one to drive on that interest.

Clarinbridge flying in the hurling championship so far. Scored 11-49 in two games.

Some awful hammerings dished out in first two rounds. Far from a competitive championship so far. A big gap between the top 4 or 5 teams and the rest

Following the hurlign from afar living abroad and there have been a lot of mismatahces, focusing on the 8 games that have been streamed. The 'Big 4' look to be well ahead with Oranmore, Sarsfields and maybe Athenry at a push in the next level. saying that from the games streamed there's plenty to cross your fingers about for the county- Sean Murhpy, josh Ryan and the Nilands for the Bridge, Rory burke, Alex Connaire & Paddy Maccartaigh, Cillian Whelan all going well. Maybe Greg Thoams at a stretch as well should be getting more of a look in.

Disappointed to see the news that PJ staying on but no surprised whatsoever. If any result was a sign that it's time to walk away and hand over the keys to somebody else it was that loss to an injury-stricken Meath. He's not changing his approach, will still rely on whether Walsh is fit to start or if Comer can give even 20 off the bench and we'll see the same stone-age kick-out strategy till 2028.

He'll always be a legend for his playing contributions but honestly feel if we had a better manager at the helm from 2022-2025 we should really have made the breakthrough at least once.

Another wasted year coming up, but, I'd say this will be his last, hard to see him stay until 2028 if no AI to show. Unfortunately I think the window for this team winning an AI has closed, but, apart from Kerry, the rest are much of a muchness so if we did get out act together properly, you never know.

The two coaches from Galway with the biggest reputations are (internally) David Morris through his work with Corofin, and (externally) John Divilly through his work with UCD.

Both of those are part of the current management team that everyone seems to want rid of. Joyce and his ticket are very far from perfect but I still haven't seen or heard anyone suggest a good option to replace them

This is a decision that shows the County Board are not interested in success. Maybe we are soft too. I don't think if Joyce was manager in Kerry or Dublin he would still be there after last year. But we're doing the insane thing of doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome.

Joyce will always be a legend for Galway as one of its best players and should be thanked for all his efforts, but it's time to move on. I don't mean to sound harsh but I don't see this decision as in the best interests of Galway football.

Divilly is gone from the backroom with Graham. Morris did great work with Corofin but I get the feeling other counties caught up to or bettered his analytics standard in recent times.

Hadn't heard Graham had left. Bellew didn't mention it on his GBFM interview this morning leastways.

That's what I've heard anyways from the same sources that knew Divilly was gone a few weeks back. I don't see Graham's departure confirmed anywhere yet either tbf.

Also think the window has closed for the footballers but would be delighted to be proved wrong.

There's a team there that should have at least 1 Celtic Cross on the shelf at home, the gift to Armagh still stings. They're a shite team and we should have bet them handy.

When have Galway ever beaten Armagh handy over the past 3-4 years?

In reality there is very little between them.
