    350 - 9 hole course.

500 plus 50 in admin fees. Half the price of fees I used to pay in my old club but half the course to be fair.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong but that sounds ridiculous. So if you are under 40, you can't enter Sunday competitions??

So only over 40 year olds can play on Sunday?

You can if you are a full member I assume. I think the *40 means that membership option is only for under 40s

1150 all in. Big enough money for a course that's just about OK.

    Serious money for golf.

€718 for under 35 membership, additional €100 as part of a €1k joining fee paid over 10 years. Could have joined Mount Wolseley for less but Carlow is literally 2 minutes out the road for me so made sense in the long run.

Steep alright. I hope your course is very high up the recently published rankings of Ireland’s top 100 courses. My club is listed just outside the top 30 and we pay €950 which is steep enough considering course will have been closed for nearly half of the last year. Hopefully open soon and we all get plenty of summer golfing.

It is in top 30 and top 3 or 4 parkland and without naming it will host Irish Open in July

That's a cool idea, being able to pay in bulk for the weekly comps

Localish to me so, thought i saw them offering cheaper memberships lately? Around €1800ish or was that a reduced membership sort of thing?

EDIT: checked it out, i was looking at under 35 membership. Ignore me :o
