ISME getting in bed with the far right

I see on Facebook ISME , GRIPT and the Edmund Burke Institute have linked up to do a Covid video together. Seems very odd. Good for GRIPT I suppose as it gets them out to the 10k+ ISME membership. I wouldn't have thought all that 10k+ membership would be happy though. :eek:
What's next, ISME features in theliberal.ie

Dunno, but the comments under the video are fairly extreme.

EDIT: Seems Gript are a right leaning Youtube channel. 3 videos from John Waters. Looks like they promote themselves as a "news" channel, but it looks more like they just find some random right wingers, set up a mock studio and shoot a video.

i regularly read articles on Gript ( its not a youtube channel btw ) , nothing " far right " whatsoever about it , its funded by Declan Ganley and offers opinion with a conservative slant certainly

"They don't agree with me" = extreme for some people. Just shows how much some live in bubbles.

Gript is a conservative media publication, they are not extreme, or the far right.

They might be a crap publication who you don't like (although I think they have showed considerable journalistic courage in recent times, particularly around trans issues) but that doesn't mean they are extremest or far right.

I'd be wary of anything that Declan Ganley is funding.

It's literally just an irish version of Breitbart. There's a reason there's no paywall or advertisements, it's funded by pro-life groups and grifters like John McGuirk. It's not a business nor a proper journalistic enterprise but an easy to digest and share source of right wing propaganda.
