Yeah Biden is so racist he spent 8 years as vp to a black man and picked a black woman then as his vp... Trump has barely employed a single non white person in the white house

Trump has banned certain groups entering the US, called other groups all dogs and rapists. Told American born women to go back to their own countries not to mention all the things he did previous to being president like central park 5 or not renting to black tenants

You really think Harris was chosen for any reason other than to capitalise on the BLM protests?

She really did badly against Pence and appears to be quite a radical. Biden will have a hard time even completing the first term.

This quote is decades old. So who gives a **** about it then? I said some pretty stupid stuff decades ago, as I'm sure you did. Decades is a long time!

He is talking about Obama. Again, the context - was he joking? Can you post the interview?

He think black people are all poor. Prove it.

He was being interviewed by a black man. He presumes that all black people should vote a certain way? Certain sounds racist to me. Again, post the interview here. To me it sounds like he's joking.

Another example of him conflating poverty with being black. Where? You do realise he's quoting someone else?

    Mod Note

Drop the "Biden is senile/Biden has cognitive issues" posts please. If medical evidence of such comes out, then it becomes an election talking point, but until then, it's not.

lol, She's about as non-radical as you can get. She's literally a cop.

She put a lot of black men in prison for minor drug offenses, that's for sure. She was also in favour of cutting the LAPD budget because of the BLM bandwagon.

    She is pro abortion.

She is pro sanctuary city, so pro illegal immigration.

She wants to reverse the tax cuts.

She wants race to be taken into account in universities which means unfairly penalising asians and whites. (Isn't that in direct opposition to what MLK fought for?)

A bit all over the place if you ask me.

If the Mountain State is any indicator, the national swing could be well fit the 10-12% predicted by recent polls:

    https://twitter.com/USA_Polling/status/1316046684649074690
Massive downward swing in a deep red state.

Had a quick scan through some of the others, and it's a similar pattern across most the deep red states, including one or two that are in danger of turning blue for the first time since Vietnam.

Which bodes really badly for the swing states.

What doesn't help is Trump yesterday taking the piss out of nursing homes. One would think they'd be a bit more sensitive to the importance of Florida.

It looks to me like the GOP have abandoned the Trump train and are resigned to losing badly in November. So they've focussed all their energy on getting the Supreme Court packed in the hope that they can frustrate any reforms that Biden's administration might try to bring through, by challenging everything and tying it up in the Supreme Court.

She personally sent them to jail? Or she did her job and applied the law as she was supposed to?

Law and order!!! Isn't that what donny shouts a lot??

Also why McConnell laughed during his Senate debate the other night when asked about why he was prioritising the SCOTUS nomination over the Stimulus bill.

They know they are going to lose so they have absolutely zero interest in making things better for an incoming Biden administration.

Fill the SCOTUS seat and then pull out the 2 Santa Claus Theory once Biden takes office.

Whilst it's patently ludicrous to attack her from the right, her record is pretty awful, it has to be said. Fairly balanced overview here:

You really think Harris was chosen for any reason other than to capitalise on the BLM protests?

No. Stacey Abrams was front runner as Biden vp way back in early 2019 https://www.axios.com/2020-presidential-election-joe-biden-stacey-abrams-vp-54472f8f-5bb2-4d1f-bc7c-0544a09ebba5.html

And why would Biden choose someone in law to appease a movement that believe law and policing need massive overhaul?
She really did badly against Pence and appears to be quite a radical. Biden will have a hard time even completing the first term.

Did badly how, explain. She wasn't the one avoiding every question like Pence. And Trump is far more radical than Harris.

If Harris was Irish she would be Fine Gael..

She was telling a lot of porky pies. I would hope that any reasonable person who watched the debate would conclude that Pence came across a lot better than she.

    And Pence didn't???

Based on this list , Pence outright lied quite a bit more than Harris did

She said she would not ban fracking when she said she would during the CNN townhall.

She said they would not increase taxes on anyone earning less than $400K but Biden had already said he would repeal the Trump tax cuts.

No - It's all relative of course , but just because her voting profile is the most left leaning in the current Senate does not make her "radical" , it's more a reflection of how utterly moribund and disconnected from current reality the rest of the Senate is.

She said she would not ban fracking when she said she would during the CNN townhall.

That's the bit you are missing..

She is now running as VP to Biden - The Biden Campaign position is not to ban fracking , so she is aligned to that now.

That's what happens when two groups come together , they review and compromise and put forward a consolidated plan.

That consolidated plan is to not ban fracking.

Why is this so hard for people?

She said they would not increase taxes on anyone earning less than $400K but Biden had already said he would repeal the Trump tax cuts.

Again - Not a lie - They will repeal the Trump tax cuts , for those earning more than $400k.

Those earning less than $400k might see some impact due to the downstream impacts from some of the Corporate tax changes , but there are no income tax increases in the plan for those on less than $400k.

    so where is the lie?

Like I said - that's the difference between "Potential Democratic Party Presidential candidate Harris" and "Confirmed VP Candidate running under a Biden Administration Harris"

    So , Not a Lie.

Two things she said when trying to be the Presidential candidate, which she is now not and is instead running as VP to Biden.

    So not lies, then

    Anything else you misinterpreted?

Look at those radical left wing bills, she would make North Korea or Stalin blush..

    https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/browse#sponsor=412678

The fact Kirsten Gillibrand is third on that list just highlights how far to the right the US Senate currently leans

This piece suggests that Florida may be at risk for Trump, because of the seniors. Lose Florida and he has very little hope at all.

I see that Trump is going to be holding a Town-hall event on NBC on Thursday evening from Florida at the same time as the Biden one in Philadelphia on ABC.

Both of them holding townhalls might actually be more informative than having Trump roaring his way through a shared one.

If he loses Florida it's over - It's been almost 100 years since a Republican took the Presidency without Florida.

Which makes his "Biden for PResident" tweet yesterday all the more crazy.

He needs the Retiree vote and he just took a shot at them..

Interesting but I don't think anything can be taken from it though. Trump was so proud of his COVID press conference ratings despite how it was killing him in the polls. People hate watch things.

For those that were concerned by enthusiasm for 2020 or Biden, not only are they setting records in early voting but it is also being reflected in records in polls.
