I’ve a feeling they aren’t going to sell much of those tins unless they’ve a great special offer!

I wouldn't pay more than €12 for them. There's just not enough contents!

We were saying they'd need to halve the cost or make them 2 for €20 or suchlike before we'd bother.

I hope to pick them up across the border prior to Christmas:D I love them but certainly don't want to pay 20 Euro for them.

But its really the the tin that I want, so that it can be refilled with more reasonably priced boxes of Lindt:D

Exactly what I'm thinking, if I can get a good deal on a tin then I'll stuff them with more from the normal boxes.

Speaking of Lindt....the 1kg santa is an extravagant price of €60

    https://www.brownthomas.com/brands/lindt-chocolate/milk-chocolate-santa-1kg/66x3389x477047.html?cgid=lindt-chocolate#start=1

Actually got one last year when Debenhams had them for €48 still a lot I know and you could buy loads of smaller ones to get to 1kg for less but it is a novelty...

The Lindt shop in Kildare Village had the 1kg Easter bunny which is €60 too for €25 in May.....twas a bargain lol

Im thinking, how much would a santa mold be on amazon, then a massive bar of chocolate to make it.

    Okay so I checked GBP 41 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rosenstein-S%C3%B6hne-Chocolate-Mould-Santa/dp/B017HB7BZ6

    Damn it.

    Foiled again!

Plus, I imagine you'd need to make tempered chocolate, which I've only ever seen done on Bake Off. :pac:

Which is back tonight!!! Yay! For me, bake off is a major sign Christmas is on the way!

I was just going to have a messy fun day in the kitchen with the little one and end up with something edible. Cheaper just to buy it. That price doesnt include postage.

Just beat me to it, really looking forward to this being back tonight, although it usually starts airing in August I consider it a solid stepping stone on the countdown to Christmas. The fact this years one was delayed means it takes us to within 4 or 5 weeks or so of christmas this year... win!

Stolen from another thread, the Cadbury sleigh...mmmmmm

Have not seen on sale here before?

    https://www.cadburygiftsdirect.co.uk/cadbury-santa-s-sleigh-kit.html

For anyone with Amazon Prime, a lot of the stuff is on there with free postage to Ireland.

I went looking on Amazon and have now discovered Cadbury Icing. Cadbury Chocolate Flavour Icing not available on Amazon direct but Tesco have it https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/304373381

You are bad people. I have just bought the following:

Cadbury Dairy Milk Vintage Bar 850g
Cadbury Dairy Milk Christmas Cottage Kit
    Cadbury Santa's Sleigh Kit
    Cadbury Christmas Chocolate Magic Basket
    Bournville Chocolate Selection Box 400g

The Cadbury's here is very different to home so the postage is going to be a bit but tis the season. Hopefully makes it by then.

Cadburys chocolate is the one thing that my wife's relatives in America always ask her to bring over.

Curses on all of you, I looked at the Cadbury site and see they have Jingly Bells one with Hazelnut Creme and another with Noisette.

I’m going to have to order and some of the cute little Robins.

Found the Lindt tin on Amazon for £15 which works out at around €16.30 today.

The picture of the sweets in the tin deceptively make it look like it's packed with sweets.

That looks like the individually wrapped sweets rather than the bars. Less choccy for your money :(

I was just referring to the price v the amount of actual chcolate you get. Always felt the individualy wrapped sweets were poorer in terms of value for money with the wrapper taking up far too much space in the box. 6 bars packed in means you're likely to get a bit more choccy for your euro :D

I love Dark chocolate Toblerone though so will look out for a big bar of that instead methinks.
