Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I really do not miss anything about Irish nightlife. It's cringeworthy.

Yes. But people should realise that the days of young people having a few drinks and acting foolish with no consequences are over. There are cameras everywhere and loads of idiots who will put this stuff online.

Leather pants sales will soar though. Good for the economy.

Do people have nothing better to do with their lives than video others and share it and then have others create outraged threads on boards.ie

You know that 75% of our cases over the last few weeks have come from meat factories.

All these video's of people having a bit of fun is getting ridiculous at this point.

Ya, its a bunch of idiots even if there was no pandemic.
Still they don't deserve to be videoed by some loser creep.

I'd be more wary of the complete knob that took the video and shared, than I would any of the participants.

Apart from the guy or two who got ‘carried away’ the others did not do much wrong. That street is packed with shoppers and tourists during the day with no masks (as its outside). What’s the difference?

It's usually someone involved in the party that films it like these ejits who post videos of the crimes they are committing

Anybody following the rules/guidance/protocol/etiquette, good for them. Just know that with the lack of enforcement it's a waste of time. Too many people out there doing their own thing.

I've been to the pub 8 times since they opened. Not once did they enforce 105 minutes. Three of those times I didn't get a meal. The pubs are effectively open doing table service.

Are we sure that was last night? Seems to be lights hung across the street. Shop local sign as well. Recorded at Christmas?

No. One mask wearer in shot.
    Not Xmas.

I know one killarney business that has suggested that a wall be built around Dublin to stop them traveling.

Killarney had heaps of cars and visitors yesterday. I would hazard a guess that these fine young people were most likely not Killarney natives.

Killarney has been packed all summer to be honest. It has been doing a roaring trade since the restrictions lifted and staycationers started moving. Kerry in general has been very busy. There have also been a fair number of foreign tourists around too.

How come these parties only happen during a pandemic? If there was no pandemic I bet there'd be no craic at all.
