Big news the last year is censorship by the big internet companies, Trump declared war on twitter censorship, a big winner could be https://unstoppabledomains.com, they cannot be banned, just type address into browser and away you go, no censorship.
Plus you can reg a domain such as ABCD.crypto and send any crypto currency to this address and its goes to your wallet(look into it for more detail)could be huge for mass adoption of crypto, no need to know a 30 character wallet address for each different crypto you own. Just tell someone to sent “money” to your address ABCD.crypto
They run on Zillliqa, could be a HUGE, time will tell.

Picked up a bag today at 0.013c down from a all time high of 23c
Chainlink and Zillliqa could be a potent combination

Where's it available? Worth a punt at that price

its been on a very long consolidation and has broken out of a year long downward trend

    What does it do?

ETH 2.0 is running late, looks like it will miss its release target
Zilliqa is right now doing things that ETH 2.0 is aiming to to
Singapore government is going to launch a stable coin on running on Zil
The term ETH killer is used to describe many rivals, well i have a theory about ETH and Bitcoin, the simple fact is these two got big and most of the world still does not understand them, old money missed out big style on these two, now do you think they would be happy about this?
Do you think old money is going to miss out on the next big thing, blockchain?
Do you think old money would be happy letting early adopters hold the lions share of ETH and Bitcoin?
Total crypto market cap is $267 billion , no doubt old money could buy it all up if they wanted to, but why spent all that and more when you could obtain the lions share of the market cap in 5-10 years for a lot less today.
So i believe old money is actively looking to find something to replace ETH and Bitcoin, once they do they will buy up the lions share will push it HARD, now will it be Zil , i don't know, but i do know its is a working product being actively developed and has partnerships with legit entities.
So if ETH 2.0 fails to materialise Zil is one of the possible replacements, thats good enough for me, 0.016c today, could easily 10x your money in a solid bull run, if it really takes of sky's the limit.

    Oh Baby.

Needs to break 10.5k to get out of decending wedge since 2018.

Expecting a decline (as usual at 10k) but not betting on it.

    Repetitive question time..

Have used coinbase for years, however becoming less fond of them each week.

Now talk of wanting to sell info to IRS / DEA etc with regards to blockchain tx’s.

Which exchange do you all use? I like being able to purchase with card as opposed to a few business days transfers etc.

Jesus, you DCA in weekly and have been using CB all along? You've wasted a nice bit of money on fees with them if so, even more if you use card every time. Kraken is what I've started using recently because I began DCAing and it's been great so far.

Also, if you're in Ireland/the EU, in case you don't already know, bank transfers are very quick these days, you can do one early in the morning and it'll be on the exchange that afternoon/evening, so you can get used to managing with this to save a bit more on fees. I'd usually do a transfer the night before and it's on the exchange the following morning

Crypto exchanges are centralised and anything centralised is not a moving target. They have to play nice with the powers that be - or they can't play. In fairness to Coinbase, my understanding was that early on, the IRS found that based on data they had as regards how many citizens were trading/buying crypto, only a sliver were reporting this on their tax returns. They then came down heavy on Coinbase - with a court ordering them to spill the beans on 14k clients back in 2017.

You can assume that any of the big professional exchanges will be providing information to the tax authorities in each and every country that they operate in. Assume that from the outset and work from there.

Coinbase wasn't so bad until the fees and spreads were upped there a few months ago. Due to my pay situation I've been happy enough to pay by card and take the hit rather than wait for transfers, get good rewards on the card too. Well aware it's not the most efficient method but I'm an odd fella so it works for me, time is money etc.

Have a good few long term index funds, fees very important to me in those scenarios for compound interest etc.

KYC etc was a given, but I reckon coinbase will take a turn to the dark side in the near future based on current rumours. Way too many ****coins listed now too, and when Brian accidentally told a fake JK Rowling to buy ****coins I lost faith altogether.

Will have a look at Kraken. Any sign of Gemini coming here ?

I have way too much corn now, so more worried about cashing out than in, and can't cash out when it pumps as coinbase predictably sh1ts itself when we pump.

I'd definitely recommend Kraken with SEPA. Much smaller spread between buy and sell prices and very reasonable fees.

    We're all in this psy-op together.🤨

    I'm using Kraken & Binance
I also have an account with Bittrex and an Uphold Wallet that allows transactions on some crypto but fees are high

me neither but they have a great selection when you want to trade alts

Another repetitive question, but if I buy a coin where I've to exchange BTC for it, as it has no fiat pairs on an exchange, should I be declaring that on a CGT return? Or should I just not bother? This is something that kinda puts me off certain alts. Shouldn't have to worry about CGT. Tempted to get some Zil

    I don’t bother

How do you put a cgt figure on a btc gain? It can be 8,000 one week and 4,000 another week

Yeah, it should really just be crypto to fiat conversions that are taxable. Gonna go for it so, doubt there'd be much issue over a few quid converted anyway, sound!

Zilliqa on an unbelievable run, up another 20% today. Bought a bag only three weeks ago and it's tripled since then - granted I first bought in 2018 @ 12c so it's been a wild ride ðŸ˜

I've tried a few and have accounts on about 4 exchanges but I mostly use Kraken and recently downloaded the app on Android... SEPA transfers do seem quicker than they used to be...

66 full nodes being ran in Ireland apparently, which makes Ireland the 22nd highest country on the full nodes list.

Genuinely shocked, you bunch of sneaky bulls !

I have a funny feeling Zil will pump again this week, I normally dont jump in on coins that have already pumped but Theta proved me wrong on that last week

I'm long on ADA and picked up a big bag many months ago so happy eoungh with my position on them but they are also looking good for another run

If you can get one good run from an alt in the next 4-6 weeks it could be a nice earner for the BTC run

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 779 ✭✭✭Arrival

Would ya say it's better to buy BTC, ETH or BNB to trade for Zil?
