Definitely don't wait. What games did you get?

Got the megabundle and also have blood and truth on the way.

The move controllers and Iron man is also coming next month.

Yeah I might set it up later , bit hesitant as I wear glasses so I ordered some bumpers online to prohibit scratching, may throw in some contacts.

Is playstation worlds just demos ?

Not complaining, Delighted actually. But whats sparked the sudden interest in PSVR?

No they are full experiences but quite short.

Definitely recommend the contacts just on the first play and once you get used to how close the lenses get to your face etc.

You don't need Motion controllers for VR Worlds.

Days of Play sale I think... plus just general coverage of VR is positive these days (you don't see as much of the hate as you did a year ago)

Also I think Iron Man VR is a big pull

Same way Half Life Alyx triggered loads of headset sales on PC

Oh don't do that, just dive right into it. It was my first ever vr experience about 18 months ago and I went in blind, it completely blew me away. So much so that I went and bought a psvr the next day.

It was and probably still is the most fun I've ever had playing a video game, the jump from flat gaming to playing that was just incredible. It's the one game I recommend to everyone new to psvr.

For me, I've wanted it for ages but the Moves put me off. I hated how hard it was to get them and they cost more to buy them 2nd hand. If Sony didn't care about the supply, I wasn't about to invest in it. The Iron Man moves pack is great value and with Days of Play sale and the backlog of games, was the perfect time to invest.

:D I tend to be a hype man for stuff like this, especially when the PsVr is such a slept on piece of kit. Love seeing the new players coming in though and get blown away by it, and happy to lend any advice I can for the early stages.

Now if you’ll excuse me I’ve been in a pool all day and have some zombie mother****ers that need to go meet jesus :D

It’s actually not that bad at all, once you get over your first 90 degree turns and downward slopes you’ll be fine

Can you change the movement in Firewall ? Not a fan of rotating 30degrees at a time, would rather control that movement completely..

Yes you can, turn off comfort options turn on smooth turning and turn off the offset while you are at it

Yeah done the smooth one must do the rest so.. me and my mate had some laugh in the first round raising guns etc haha... Is it always only 1 round?

Yeah it’s one and done, they haven’t added any other modes to it. If you get a good lobby it won’t matter, just attack and defend but having good craic at the same time. Add me on PS -TheSpecialist85. I’ll try jump on later for a game or 2 if I can drag myself away from walking dead :)

Just joined warzonebrother for a few games of firewall, we murdered everything in sight, took their women and then had a good lol about it (i.e we just got murdered by a team that had all named themselves after Police Academy characters :D).

Now I have to know, are we talking OG like Mahoney and Jones or did they have Nick Lassard?

Hightower, Mahoney, Jones and another I can’t remember :D must have taken some coordination because all of them had PA-name haha

If they were in a game that had shooting and none were named Tackleberry then either they didn't think it through or thought it was too obvious.

Anyway, looks like won't get a chance to try anything until Sunday night at least

Boy do I suck at that game haha, I am probably the only player that squints their eyes while playing too...

Mate came back on shortly after I was playing astro bot, I finally got my 2nd kill..

Astrobot is alot of fun, had to replay the first mission cause I wanted to get all the bots..

First of all, Firewall is awesome! 2nd, i need the move for it, ds4 is tricky. 3rd, i keep trying to press an aim button.

This was my first go after the tutorial....it did not go well.

Yeah its pretty good I just wish it was more than one round per game haha..

I would get the aim controller, the Move controllers do not work with this AFAIK... The aim controller is 70 in argos but has all controls built in and triggers.. You can rotate your weapon and it will look exactly how it feels with the aim controller.

I've only got 2 online kills from about 10 games haha

Turn on the ambient mic so you can hear noises around you/your own voice in the headphones not as much of a distraction as you might think.
But great for a baby monitor in the room to pick up

Thanks again for this, works so good! Turned Sidetone up full and getting the benefits of hearing everything and still having 3d audio. Actually funny hearing myself as I'm starting to talk to myself a lot in VR :)

The ocean descent was so ****ing cool. I can't wait till lockdown is over so i can show this to family and friends.

Firewall is only aim or ds, no move support - it would be a nightmare trying to control it with moves :)

Does Apex Construct work with PS Aim? Or even dualshock as its pretty cheap right now might purchase...

Ah i thought firewall used move, must keep an eye out for a 2nd hand one or sale, spent too much to buy another peripheral :)

I thought vr works would be a gimmicky demo but they're all class (haven't tried danger ball yet).
