The Last Of Us 2

Lads, is there a way to grab this on launch day that doesn't necessitate downloading it from PS Store?

I suppose it was seeing as I started in 2014 The multiplayer trophies were a slog, those 2 took me the longest as I would dip in and out of it over the years. Other than that, it was following a guide to make sure you don't miss items and Survivor mode which was tough but really good.

Finished my playthrough of the first one the other night. It's still a pretty good game. But, yeh, it's a cover based shooter with stealth mechanics. Spotted throughout are a few simple quicktime events (hit square or triangle to break free of something) and there are a couple of mild puzzles here and there too. But it isn't anything anybody hasn't seen well before and after the game was made. So, it doesn't win anything in that dept.

What hooks the player, though, is the story and the believability of the characters, of which there was obviously a lot of time and effort put into.

I probably won't be playing the second game (or third if you count the DLC for 'The Last of Us'), if it doesn't make an appearance on the PC. If it does, I'll wait and see what the reactions are when it's actually out. I'm certainly not buying a PS4 just to play it, that's for sure.

However, I did have a look at a few vids concerning the meltdown about where Part 2 is going and if certain playing choices are true, then some of the people losing their shit over it may have a point, even if it's stupidly made.

You can jump, go prone and dodge. I thought the dodge bits from the trailer were mini scripted bits, nice to know it's actual gameplay, nice flow to to it.

They are still discussing unreleased footage under copyright. Still not a very strong case to argue fair use.

No footage used. They can discuss the leaks all they want which is mainstream news FYI.
