another beautiful morning here too in Meath, going to cut the lawn today before the rain arrives later this evening or tonight. Today could be a touch milder than yesterday with less chill effect from that easterly breeze.

Pissing out of the heavens and cold here in Cork yet again. Heating on in day time in May in an A rated house. Says it all. South coast has been worst for weather for the last 3 weeks after being top of the class for a few weeks before that. That's Ireland for you....

Another stunning day in North County Dublin.

Warmer than yesterday as less breezy

It really has been unbelievable weather.

Delighted the NW has done so well recently, well earned. Alas things tend to regress to the mean so I fear ye may end up paying for this eventually! Still, enjoy it while ye have it. It's like the middle of January down here (lights on throughout the house included!).

Absolutely stunning in Dublin 5, not a cloud in the sky. Another great thing is that Boards is finally loading quickly after being excruciatingly slow for about a week.

Cork should fair much better for temperatures from tomorrow as the uppers begin to climb, but especially on Friday and Saturday where 20C is possible in many places of the country.

Not a cloud in the sky here in Meath. My 5yo remarked 'Mammy there is no white clouds or any clouds in the sky any of the days' such is the amazing weather lately.

hopefully we get more weeks like this from June to September and with higher temperatures.

We already more than paid for it with last year's total write off of a summer, most of the country had a below average summer but it was downright crap up here! Things tend to level out over time anyway so I'm sure we'll be looking at you with jealousy before too long

Cracking day in Dublin again today. Pity about the breeze but the sky is a beautiful blue again today. Since this lockdown the weather really has been amazing here in Dublin. Can hardly remember any days of rain...

big temperature differences across the country at the moment, mild in most areas but very cool along the south, especially around Cork City with temperatures in the single digits. Low to mid teens generally elsewhere and high teens across the far mid-west.

We could be seeing more conditions like this later next week when we lose the northerly and winds back to a east/south-easterly for second half of next week. Could be warm in the far west again towards the end of next week.

Thats some crazy temperature ranges alright. Up to about 11.1mm of rain since midnight down here, with some heavier bursts in the last 15 minutes

The beautiful weather continues in Galway, another lovely day today. Quite a strong easterly breeze. Anyone any ideas what May or June might hold in store?

A warm and fine day, despite the brisk easterly breeze.

today was glorious and didn't feel as cool as the temperature suggested, got to about 14C here today but felt warmer as winds were light and unbroken sunshine all day, not a cloud in the sky at any stage.

Sunday will be a real shock to the system with cold winds coming down from the Arctic. But on a positive note it will be predominantly dry as high pressure is close by.

It will be cold but not as bad as what was showing the other day for us. Kerry could hold onto the warmth on Sunday but bitterly cold in most other places, with Ulster and Leinster most affected by the arctic blast.

Monday will be bitter as well (for the time of year)

Temperatures make a very good recovery by next weekend.

If it's sunny on Sunday, you're fair skinned and you decide to go for a long walk, don't forget to put on sunscreen. Even if it feels very cold, it makes no difference to the burn time, whether it's 8c or 28c. A lot of people get bad sunburn around this time of the year when we get a cold snap with sunny weather as those same people associate only warm sunny weather with burning. If the sun is high to in the sky, it's strong. Although not pure science, a good way to think about it is if your Shadow from the sun is shorter than you, you're at risk of burning.

It has been raining non stop for two days... Depressing.

Temperatures might be low on the above charts but at this time of year with the strong sun it should still feel pleasant as long as you're out of the breeze. Plenty of days here recently where air temp has only been 12 or 13C but I've been in shorts and t-shirt in the sheltered garden.

Probably the nicest day of the year so far here today, cloudless skies and a gentle mild breeze, lovely skies at the moment with the sun lighting up the haze in the lower atmosphere

Im sure it will feel much warmer next week than the 13 degrees that is forecast...once the high pressure settles over us with light winds...still feeling warm during the day in the sun but im sure you will feel the chill in the mornings & evenings/night
