The dental association had a plan on their website what work the can do depending on phases. I am sur this will be update very soon to tie in with these new 5 phases. Ring your dentist for advice.

Looks like routine treatments won't be back until phase 4. 20th of July. Also the high speed turbine creates an aerosol which is a real issue and will be redundant. Cave man dentistry for the near future

It is stunning how ignorant some people, many people, are about the laws, recommendations and guidelines of this 'lock down'.
People sitting at home thinking they're not allowed out the door.
Healthy young people cocooning for their own benefits! ! For ****s sake.
You can fairly well go anywhere if you want to go, the Gaurds aren't that scarey. It's up to your own judgement.

Nobody under the age of 30 dead yet, they're as likely to die by being pooed on by a crow.

Young people stuck at home watching re runs on redtube seems like a good use of their time!

I know a woman in her late 30s with covid19 who has been very slow to recover. She was lucky she didn't die and her heart and lungs are still being supported by hospital equipment to help them to work. She was a healthy non-smoker.

Leo's speech was absolutely rubbish. Talking about maintaining social distancing, hand washing and respiratory hygiene...

Maintaining respiratory hygiene... Like sneeze/cough into your elbow and have the virus on the sleeve of your top??? Idiot with no mention of face masks or face coverings. Some people cough/sneeze so fast they might not even have time to bring their elbow to their faces. Surely having something cover your face makes sense.

Very few at one time anyhow. My mom used to go swimming with a group but now only those that are within the 2km go and even then it’s on their own. You’d see the odd other person down there but everyone keeps their distance.

Cheers, I'm 3km from a beach and would love a surf. Rnli asking ppl to stay out of water though.

Skimmed through it, too many aspirational generalisations. Hopefully consultations have commenced some time ago on specific measures for each sector. But no indication of what metrics are to be used to determine when to move forward or backup a stage.

Principles of Approach to reducing measures
    ........
Reducing measures critically dependent on health service’s ability to:
    - find new cases by consistently testing and contact tracing, and utilise
robust information on disease, system capacity and performance,
    - implement mechanisms to protect ‘at risk’ groups particularly, from
    outbreaks.
    ...
    Disease indicators
    1. Trajectory in incidence of disease
    2. Trajectory in number of cases and clusters in residential healthcare settings
    3. Trajectory in number of deaths
    4. Hospitalisation and ICU occupancy cf % appropriate to move forward a stage, % trigger to backup a stage
    5. Programme to consistently sample, test and contact trace.
    * and other criteria as may arise in the future.
    ...
Monitoring the Disease & reduction of measures
    Essential Health data sources: epidemiological data & modelling; incidence of outbreaks in residential settings;
testing and contact tracing; cf test turnaround timelines, depth, width and speed of contact tracing
health service capacity & performance (incl. ICU beds,
hospital, access to essential products, PPE, masks) cf % appropriate to move forward a stage, % trigger to backup a stage
    ...
Non-health information sources: transportation data; data and information on mobility and congregation; other sources

I liked Leo's speech this evening. He came across very well. He addressed so much in his speech and recognised people who are mourning alone which would be something so difficult.

I'm so grateful our leader is not an almighty bo11ocks recommending bleech or whatever other nonsense the American sh1tbag sprouts.

What's wrong with asking about weddings? It's relevant to a lot of people.

This website is ****ed and I can't wait 5 minutes to load up a page so just to add to this..

Healthy young people don't need to cocoon.

If you cocoon you are expecting other people to take risks you aren't willing to take to afford you the ability to cocoon. People to shop for you and deliver your food, supermarket workers, drivers, postal workers.
But sure film yourself giving them a clap at 8pm. While you sit inside safe and cocooned.

FFS. She was not immunocompromised or elderly is the point. Covid19 made her seriously ill despite not being in a vulnerable group. She was one of the people who is in the group you think don't need to cocoon.

Can't believe I had to just type that. Christ on a bike.
