    Just finished Miracle in Cell No 7 after reading the recommendations here.
    Absolutely fantastic film. I'm not ashamed to say I have big fat tears pouring down my face after watching it.

    Definitely there. Just go to the search section. Disaster struck me this morning. I got a flashback of someone telling me the end. Although it is a bit of a spoiler I don’t think it will ruin it. Going to watch it later and then start on Ashes to Ashes.

    I didn't like Ashes to Ashes at all. Maybe it's just that Life on Mars was so good, and then Ashes to Ashes just seemed to be the usual cashing in on a good thing. Might go back and watch them again.

    Watched Three Identical Strangers last night. Thought it was excellent although I did want to punch someone at the end....

    Dunno if mentioned before on here but I watched midnight cowboy last night, with Dustin Hoffman in it way back in 1969, really enjoyed it, highly recommended.

    I had some significant issues with how the film portrayed Eddy's Father.
    The father talking about how he thought they were a good family who protected each other broke my heart.I felt the interviews were exploitative and framed badly

    It's depressing as hell, but it's brilliant too. Watched it on Netflix recently myself as it was one I hadn't seen before.

    Watched it donkeys years ago myself, probably stoned- so it was like a new film to me!
    It's certainly shows the less salubrious side of big city living! But I liked it, a film like it wouldn't be made like it nowadays in Hollywood I reckon.

    Both excellent show, whatched them when on the telebox and started Life on Mars again. Excellent show

    Watched My Neighbor Totoro on Saturday with the kids - we all absolutely loved it. What a joyous film! Thanks to all who recommended it here. Spirited Away is next. :D
