Anyone noticing a lull? I know were in the E3 run in and next gen run in, but theres plenty of old games that could be blitzing game pass. I actually would have expected it to be honest, making it a must have service coming into the next gen. As it is, I'd have doubts I'd pay the full yearly price, it's looking more like a dip in dip out service.

Thanks - so basically I need to turn off auto-renew and then wait for 1 month for what I have just paid for to expire - then I can try it - is that correct ?

Loved the first Ori until you had to start bouncing off enemies and projectiles, it turned more frustrating than fun

I dont get why they made Ori so difficult. Its as if it somehow makes it a better game?! It just frustrates the hell out of you until you stop playing, it makes no sense.

I hope Will of the Wisps is dialled down a couple of notches. It would still be a fantastic game without being so difficult.

The first time I beat the Ginso Tree on hard, I was so relieved I quit playing for a bit and forgot to make a save point. Came back a few days later and progress was gone, had to do it all again :pac:

Doing it again on the switch was a nightmare also, but tbh I thought the Mount Horu escape was much worse!

Ginso was a weird difficulty spike alright, but tbh, I didnt find anything else for the rest of the game too taxing. I might be somewhat conditioned though, as I seem to have grown quite fond of those type of platformers, some of my favourite games of the last few years would include Celeste, Dead Cells, Ori, Gaucamelee 1&2 and super meat boy (the only one of the aforementioned that I haven't been able to beat).

Just playing it for the first time myself, always wanted to know what it would be like as I do enjoy a good platformer that isn't too difficult (time, patience, etc). This is a beautiful looking game, and I'm just after finishing the Ginso Tree. Not getting the difficulty spike ye are mentioning, and while some of the aiming craic was annoying, I didn't feel like it was punishing. Most deaths were my own fault tbh, aside from those bloody portals that require the double jump between thorns! Maybe it's completely different on Hard. Anyway, looking forward to sticking into the rest of it!

Is it the definitive version you have which has a choice of difficulty levels? The original has no difficulty choice and I found the Ginso Tree bastard hard in it.

That would explain it, I do remember picking a difficulty, but I've also started about 8 different games in the last 2 weeks, so I could be mixing them up. Good thing, I do want to finish this but if it gets too difficult it'll be dropped.

Hey guys sorry to be a pain but hoping I can get a definitive answer on this please, my son got the 3 months ultimate for €3 at Christmas so its nearly expired, what's the best way to get the upgrade deal with it runs out? Thanks

Buy at least 2 12 month and 1 6 month Gold cards and then sign up for Ultimate.

Make sure auto renew is turned off so the subscription actually expires.

Cdkeys are selling 12 month subs for €40 as they're daily deal today.

Cheers sniper, so the fact he has already availed of the €1 per month deal wont affect him? I've seen some posters suggest signing up for 1 full month of ultimate then trying to upgrade to the offer ?

Afaik it will still stack, you just need to pay full price for a month of ultimate after your gold.

When you add each code it should offer a free month if you agree to auto renew. Then turn off auto renew and add the next code etc. With the 30 mths (2*12 and 1*6 mth) you will get 33 mths and then convert to Ultimate with the 1e offer.

Ok thanks I've purchased 2 x 12 month subscriptions for gold but when I try add them to my account its asking me do I want to convert them to 4 months of ultimate, any ideas please?

You need to let your game pass Ultimate sub run out before redeeming the live.
