Australia and France are the only countries that should include earphones so might have been a mix-up. My black one came without earphones.

The phone I got came with earphones.

Ha, logged in to check if anyone else got earphones with theirs since they weren't mentioned anywhere. I got a black for myself with no earphones and then a black and a white as gifts and the black one had a set of earphones included, nothing in the white one.

I got the black 3a with earphones

Can you recommend a tempered glass screen protector? Bought one off an Irish mobile site, it never stuck to the glass properly, not sure if just a crappy one.

    I got this:

ANKENGS Google Pixel 3a Screen... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07S9QTGGF?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

So easy to put on. Press on the venue and it sticks itself pushing all the air out. Also comes with a sealing gell for the edges so no bubbles

Anyone know where I can get a case, bricks and mortar shop.?

I haven't found anywhere. I tried Vodafone, CPW and lots of the kiosks in shopping centres but seems to be online only which is not surprising really. The kiosks have generic flip cases that stick on to the back of similar sized phones but I didn't want a genetic one.

Why is this expired? This has gone out of stock many times and always comes back in. No doubt same will happen again.

Its still on their site with offer still active:

    http://shop.vodafone.ie/shop/phones/google-pixel-3a-pay-as-you-go-just-black

Assume that it will come back in to stock. Once their stocks are gone they will remove the offer.
The 4a will be available in a few months and I assume that once it is the 3a will be withdrawn as the 3 has now been.

    Is this deal similar?
    https://www.three.ie/christmas/shop/prepay-phones/

I dunno what the "3a" equivalent is there. Maybe the Xiaomi?

Eh. No. You can only get the 3a from Vodafone or the Google Store. Three doesn't have it.

Must be the bargain of the year if one managed to win the Vodafone purchase lottery and pick one up.

To get such a good camera for €180 and a decent overall phone that will get full Android updates until May 2022 is a superb deal.

    Sorry for off-topic.
Is Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T a good phone instead of Pixel 3a ?

I gave up ordering from Vodafone after one attempt (porting from three and no money taken from card).

seems like a solid enough phone yes. probably would not take as nice a photo as the 3a but looks a reasonable phone with good battery life.

No not yet, got charged 3 times for the 1 phone back on the 11th of December.
Tried ringing today but got cut off and the web chat was off-line

The only way I could get a refund for white screen was to use Twitter and send a direct message to them. Took a while as they couldn't find my order. Had to send them screenshot of my account being charged

I was on their web chat today to try and get back one of two failed orders. They had refunded the other a few days after it cancelled. I had reference numbers which were a huge help and I did not leave the chat until I got a SMS message from their payment/refund system that they were processing my refund.

Does anyone have the Vodafone email that we can request refund from?

Good case yeah but only thin film screen protector as the glass one hadn't arrived yet.

Be careful these screens aren't made with gorilla glass like typical phones these days.

it's made by another company (Dragontail) and got the same results as Gorilla glass in tests.

Dragontrail has better scratch resistance whereas Gorilla Glass has better shock resistance. Both are fantastic in each regard, but Dragontrail is more likely to break if a phone is dropped. :)

Gorilla possibly/ probably better for drops but not quantified
