What eejit thought that was a good name?

Many car names are sh1t now.
Juke, Fluence, Kuga, Yaris, thought Duster was one of the more stupid ones until now.

Fluence was a particularly bad name.

Fluence was a particularly bad name.

Always had a whiff of “effluence” about it, to my (admittedly warped) mind

Kia Sportage, because nothing says sporty like using 2.5 tons of metal to ascend that 8° incline on the school run.

    Oh, and anything by SsangYong.

The process of making an Irish radio ad:

Ad-man 1: I'm struggling for an idea for this ad.

Ad-man 2: I got it! Let's get two people with nasal South Dublin accents to have a conversation that nobody ever has ever and insert the product in the middle.

    Ad-man 1: Brilliant!

"And we're going to keep telling ourselves that every day"

Can you imagine the smug shít that came up with the new AIB ad, 'Yeah, the snowflakes will suck this right up". And the management of a many Billions of euro company thought, 'yeah cracking idea, lets go with it - that wont make our potential customers wish for their brains to bleed out through their ears.'

The thing is, the actual idea behind the environmental mortgage is a good thing. Incredibly annoying ad.

Also the irony that banks exist and thrive primarily in a strong capitalist society which leads to pollution is lost on their smug heads.

'Dog Poo Dog Poo...' just to be clear, I abhor the practice of some dog owners who ignore Fido's sh1t and leave it for others to unwittingly pick up on their shoes/ wheels/ whatever.

    But that ad

“Twenty twenty cash back! Twenty twenty cash back!”

It was fun when Bord Gáis did it with those cartoon bears but it’s quite irritating hearing this new one on the radio.

It was "50 50 cash back" with the bears.

But yes, this one is a poor imitation.

Delforno tiles on Cork radio, Sal is looking around the store and she loses her friend because the store is so big 5 years later and Sal is still lost in the store and her friend can't find her  They must be selling pretty ****ty tiles if she's lost in the store for 5 years.

Any ads with children with stupid mid Atlantic accents.
